We recently bought some fried food at this supermarket. After paying, we ate it outside the store at a corner. One of staff members saw us and shook her head from a distance. At first, we didn’t understand what was wrong. Later, she stared at us, so I used my limited Japanese to ask if we were not allowed to eat there. She nodded to say no. We understand now that it is not acceptable to eat outside the supermarket, and we apologize for the mistake.
