Stayed in this hotel for 6 nights during mid April. Still a new hotel, less than 1 year since opening. Location is great about 5-7 min walk to JR Osakatemmangu station and MinamiMorimachi subway station. Best is using exit 4 from subway and then continue to exit 9 from JR station (subway and jr station are connected underground). Really great value for money as the hotel provides a wide range of facilities and amenities besides the usual ones such as public bath, in-room iron, unlimited toiletries to take from the lobby, free handy phone with free calls to US, Thailand, and a few more countries, small massage machine and lots of usb and electrical points. The cool part about the hotel is that one can monitor the status of your laundry on the inroom tv screen like the time left before your laundry is done or whether the laundry machine is available for use or not. The tv can also monitor the status of the public bath - whether busy or not as there are only 7 shower stalls available. The look of the public bath is as featured in the hotel website and the water temperature is really hot - great for relaxing the muscles after walking whole day. The hotel staffs were very nice and helpful especially Mr. Suranga as he patiently assisted me with my car rental problems. The hotel also provides free coffee and hot chocolate for guests. There are many public car parks available nearby hotel which costs about less than 1500 yen for overnight parking after 8pm. Another great thing about this hotel is that wheelchair is available for guests to use if needed. I was very surprised to be able to borrow one when I needed it for emergency. There are some minor reasons why I didn't give the hotel 5 star is that the noise insulation can be further improved. Can still hear traffic noises such as early morning traffic activity and sirens (although not constantly) and guests talking along the corridor. Also the pillow is a bit low for me. Would be great if the hotel provides pillow menu. To sum it all, a great hotel that provides most of the requirements I needed during my holidays in Osaka. Would give this...
