Hostel OSAKA — Hotel in Osaka

Sadly I had experience of booking here and the noise level is actually pretty crazy because of the doors to each dormitory and some thin walls. Depending where you are you can hear the noise from upper floor, below floor, and faucets. I thought the upper bunk person was making a slamming noise only to realize the sound was coming from floor above.

Also sound of someone talking but like outside of the building can be heard here which was just nuts. I think they have thin wall problem.

The hostel here needs to let guests know what time is the light out time because people were still making noise from 1am at night slamming doors.

The best point about this place is that it is clean and the staff has a great system to clean the place periodically (they have stamp check system where they have list of hours and checks if the facilities are clean).

The public spaces are lovely and nostalgic, giving a very pleasant atmosphere. The sleeping area is comfortable, but because of the wooden structure, you can clearly hear every movement from the upper bunk. The door also makes a loud noise when opened. The air conditioning feels strong, but it doesn’t circulate well into the sleeping pods. Towels are available for a fee.

All of the staff are extremely accommodating. Near subway and bus stops so location is good. Near convenience stores too.

The sharing lounge/dining space is very homey and has modern Japanese vibes. Kitchen is clean too.

I had the shared bedroom - doors are sliding and bit heavy. It's operated by a manual button lock - which causes a little bit of a noise whenever anyone opens/closes it. I tried to slowly and cautiously unlock and open the door but it's not possible to not make a noise out of it.
