The best part of the zoo definitely was the polar bear. The bear was moving around so ferociously and fast. Also the bear was very playful. Please be way that the enclosure closes around 4pm while the zoo closes around 5:30 pm

新世界側のゲートから入って右手にある。

観覧エリアはそれなりに確保されているが、やはり土日は混む。

2022年12月まではお母さんのイッちゃん（メス）と娘のホウちゃんが暮らしていたが、イッちゃんはズーラシアに転出中のお父さんのゴーゴ（オス）のもとへ移動。

居住エリアは階段状になっており、イッちゃんがホウちゃんを追いまわす様子を見ることもできた。イッちゃんはスタミナがないせいか、ホウちゃんに追いつくことはあまりないけれども。プールに派手に飛び込むと観覧エリアまで水しぶきが飛んでくることもある。ホウちゃんは動体視力がいいのか、飛行中のカナブンを食べることができる特殊能力の持ち主。

前述のようにホウちゃんは追いかけられたり、首を噛まれて水中に沈められるほどイッちゃんと仲がよい。他のホッキョクグマ親子とはまたひと味違った親子関係だ。イッちゃんがズーラシアに移動して、今後は独り立ちしていくもよう。

時期によっては園がナイトズーを開催しており、普段は見ることができない夜のホッキョクグマも観察で...
