Guest House 888 — Hotel in Osaka

🌱 Very kind owners, not so kind roomies🪲PROS- very well connected with different subway lines and busstations- cool shopping centers within walking distance - everything was super clean and well maintained and the owners come everyday to clean and refill everything- fridge, tea/coffee, mugs and cutlery as well as a coin laundry and coin dryer were provided- communication with the owners was effortless and easy- big bed with lots of space and a nice common room- shower gel/shampoo/towel/ toothbrush etc were provided🩸 CONS- it’s a lot of beds with many people. Sadly they decided to not completely follow the rules or common sense. We were not allowed to use the Washer/Dryer from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m. to ensure a nice sleeping environment. Sadly my roomies decided to use the hairdryer whenever they wanted (even though the owners said in their email that we shouldn’t use it in the common are late at night). When I mentioned this to the owners, they were very kind and understanding and were also thinking of how to enforce the rules more! It’s mostly chinese women/girls, they like to keep to themselves, so don’t expect to find a...

The facilities are clean and pleasant, but few things could be improved.

1. Sink is next to the beds - some guest are very loud at night, 1 guest during my stay started using hairdryer in the middle of the night waking others up.

2. Earplugs provided are awful quality, they don’t shape well and don’t provide enough noise cancellation.

3. At the entrance you take off your shoes and slippers are provided - that’s fine but the slippers make soo much noise, now imagine every guest wearing them around the place and making so much unnecessary noise - maybe change slippers or remove them? Socks are fine.

4. You have to leave cash after check out - not the most convenient option.

Mais aussi, très proche de tout type de restauration, ce qui est très pratique. L'hôte est super réactive et gentille.
