Ourlog Coffee Honmachi — Restaurant in Osaka

Very unfriendly place (maybe especially for tourists). We wanted to sit here, and while all tables were taken, were ready to wait. But barista told us that the waiting zone is on the opposite side of the street, when there is no signs… and while he was showing us this “waiting zone”, one couple left. So barista told us that they have one available table, but immediately after that this place have been taken by Japanese girl from other table of the cafe — we have been telling by barista that there is no any available places and we AGAIN need to wait outside, although it’s heavy rain and we were the only waiters at the moment. So what’s the point of trying to manage places and don’t let people just find free spots on their own if you can’t do it properly??? So disappointing, disrespectful...

Upon entering, we were immediately informed by the barista that only takeaway was available and that there was no seating. No apology was offered for the lack of seating, nor were we given the option to wait for a free table. However, immediately after we placed our order for takeaway, other customers entered and were seemingly allowed to sit down without being directed to take away. This inconsistent treatment and lack of hospitality were unwelcoming and unacceptable. ​We ordered a cappuccino and a chocolate milk. The cappuccino was of poor quality, consisting almost entirely of milk with very little or no espresso flavor. The chocolate milk was adequate but not...

Better than finding money in your pocket by accident. Came here for the matcha coffee and was surprised by the pastries. I'm more of a coffee person, but their matcha latte comes with a shot of espresso and a smooth cream on top, not only looks great, tastes as good as it looks. We also tried a maple and bacon cinnamon roll, extra fluffy, and a chocolate croissant/salt butter roll thing, so soft, the balance between the salty and chocolaty flavours is amazing, and the soft chocolate cream inside brings it to another level. The ambience is chill, clean, nice vibes....
