Terrible, unclean hotel with meh staff, some of whom probably are quite racist if you are a white foreigner. The hotel is on the 4th floor so you take an elevator up, that may, depending on the time of day (in my experience) stink of something quite foul, almost like curry. If you're a white foreigner, like me, some (not all) of the staff will most certainly be racist. Even though I'm well dressed in expensive clothing, with nice perfume and theres nothing wrong with me physically the hotel staff will still go into their sideroom and audibly laugh (without saying anything to each other) at you as soon as you turn your back and start to walk away. Don't you guys have the gall to face someone you are laughing at? Speaking of gall though, someone who's not lacking in gall is the evening manager. After I had to complain as my room was still dirty from the previous guests (Trash under the bed you could see from the doorway, trash on the floor between beds, semen stains on the floor between the beds and around the desk) the manager made me wait 30 minutes in my room only to come up and give me another, WORSE room after THEY screwed up cleaning. My new room had fewer windows and lacked the cool round one you could sit in. It had less space, 10 times worse view where you look directly into another building instead of main street and it had dirty curtains with a worse desk and room layout. And this guy had the gall to smile at me like he did something nice! I did not get the room i paid for, absolutely infurating. Would give this place zero stars if it was possible. Go to the hotel across the street instead, especially if you are a foreigner. The staff aren't racist and they won't be screwing you over with your room either. They actually clean too

Really nice hotel for the price, a bit old but in good condition.

The rooms are small but offer enough space to place your baggage and still walk around comfortably.

The breakfast was better than we expected but it is served pretty early, after 9am they start cleaning up so for best results you should aim to be there by 8am.

The location is really good as the hotel is right next to a metro station and is a ~15 minutes walk away from Dotonbori, one of the main tourist spots. There is also an yamato transport branch close by if you need to forward your baggage.
