Good cause but a rip off. It's a rescue shelter so it good to see all the work and care for the animals but this place is a scam and I'd warn people to be careful. It clearly states outside in plain English that it's 200 yen for 10 minutes with the cats, and 250 for the same on the weekend. I went in and the lady told me I'd have to pay a different price. I can't speak much Japanese nor she much English but she told me 350 per 10 minutes because I HAD to pay the higher price for the all you can drink for some reason. I said 'okay 350'. Anyway 10 minutes later I'm ready to leave and now it's 660. There was no explanation to this, another lady came to help and it wasn't a pleasant atmosphere. Clearly trying to milk the situation for money which is a shame for a rescue facility. I just paid and went on my way, they laughed at me as I left which was nice. It takes 2 minutes to write the real prices clearly for everyone to see, and customers would appreciate...

It charges higher than some cat cafe. But consider they are helping the abandoned cats, I highly recommend people share the same good will to visit and support the business.

They also take care sick cats (e.g. fear human) as well instead of simply making money with them.

The interior design is meeting cats' personality and comfortability. Cat staircase, hidden toilet, customized cat tower, curtains for cat to hide/rest, cage for scary cats.

I like the idea to separate the cafe and cat space. Many cats do not like to be disturbed, this place also take care of this in their operation designed.

The staff shows good knowledge about cats' behaviour and ensure customers interact in a right manner.

Hope the cat cafe floor provides food & tables, so we spend more to support this business and abandoned cats.

By far the best and most memorable place we stayed during our visit to Japan!! We stayed on the ryokan and as a group of 4 we got the whole place to ourselves. The bed capsules were spacious and the futons were warm and comfortable. Being able to see the cats through the glass at night was a wonderful experience. The bathroom and shower area were wonderful, very clean and equipped with the best amenities. With your stay you get a free entry to the cat cafe durning business hours or before opening or after closing if you prefer to be alone. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, and the cats were well taken care of and very playful. It's important to point out that this is one of the few places in Japan that takes good care of the cats and acts as an adoption agency as well, other places are not ethical. I cannot...
