I recently had the pleasure of staying at this incredible hotel! The location is absolutely unbeatable — 2-3 minutes away from Dotonbori street, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. Despite being in the heart of everything, the hotel is a peaceful oasis, providing a perfect retreat after a day of sightseeing.
The rooms are clean, spacious, and well-appointed, providing a very comfortable stay. One of my favorite parts of the stay was the delightful cafe on the first floor. The coffee is superb, and the food is very good. The staff at the hotel are a true highlight; they are incredibly kind, always smiling, and make sure every guest feels welcome and cared for.
When checking-in my boyfriend and I received cute little gifts and free drink per person from 4pm to 10pm for every day of our stay. You can also leave your luggage for free at the hotel after check-out at 11am until 5 pm.
The hotel also offers a range of fantastic facilities, including laundry services and a vending machine on the 10th floor. A wonderful bonus was the pool for women and men (separated) + sauna for women.
Overall, this hotel provided an exceptional experience with its prime location, top-notch amenities, and outstanding service. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area — you won’t be...
Read moreThis was my second capsule experience so I do have something to compare it to. The staff was friendly and the space was clean. When you get to your floor, there is come confusion bec the sign says to remove your shoes but actually you can walk in and remove your shoes in the locker room. Locker room is very narrow and definitely no space for luggage. Even a small hand carry. In each locker, there is a clear bag with a large towel, two small towels, body scrubber, toothbrush set. Basically anything you'll need because there is also shampoo and body wash in the shower. There are also (very tiny) pajamas in the bag. At check in you are given a locker key number which is also your bed. There are many toilet stalls but about 5 showers so there was a line before bed to get a shower. There is no soundproofing in the capsule area so you can hear everyone's talking, plastic bags and alarms so be aware of this if you are a sensitive sleeper. In the capsule itself there is a tv, alarm, light, outlet and vent for air circulation. It is just one vent that points at your face and if you move it away, you don't feel any air at all even if it is on. Blankets are thick and the capsule is cozy. Ladies are offered a gift from a gift basket upon check in. Watch out for the elevator! It...
Read moreWhat can I say, it's a nice hotel with a pleasant bathhouse. Good cafe downstairs and I enjoyed staying there. However, we left our luggage there for a few days and paid for the service. When we returned to collect our luggage, one of the bags was broken. This is where things got weird. They began to ignore our concerns. They didn't want to accept that our luggage had broken on their watch. Mistakes happen, it wasn't even that big a deal, but we felt ignored and belittled by their response.
I don't blame the staff, they were young adults who didn't seem to have been trained for situations like this. Apparently the manager, who was contacted on the phone after 20 minutes because Google Translate wasn't good enough to help their communication skills, just left them hanging and said there was nothing they could do. At one point they even asked us to open our luggage because they thought it was too heavy and it was normal to break lol.
After waiting half an hour at reception, we decided to accept our loss and their incompetence. I'm quite annoyed by their behaviour because I was quite happy up to that point. Sure, they may have saved $50 by not repairing our luggage, but they were making a mockery of their...
