Unfortunately there were a series of issues starting with the very high charge for kids under 12 considered as adults, followed by not having a real receptionist, when we arrived the second iPad with the camera setting was not easy to access because it had a previous session open so we had to figure it to restart it after a long trip, then we had a 6 night stay and not even trash pick up is offered with no charge, the check out time is ridiculous at 10 am, Hotels typically have a check out time at 12, and the last issue was if there is a heatwave, how is it possible that the room is not cooled down? (you had the expected time of arrival) this certainly is not managed as a hotel but like a BnB. As a positive I could say that the facilities are ok for families, but the location is certainly not. Westward or north a lot of red light district or solicitation. Even when the location is “good” I had to traverse longer routes to walk with my kids.
Saying this I think you have a good opportunity to fix things and have a good value, but if the administration keep looking to extract the maximum profit or decrease the costs at an expense of service you won’t be able to...
Read morePoor check in experience; had to email hotel since we did not receive any instructions within 12 hours of check-in and others mentioned needing to pre check-in. Once we got the email, it was fairly easy however door to elevator really was not obvious and instructions at pin pad different from hotel instructions. Hotel location is very convenient to Life grocery store and Family Mart store. Very close to bus station and about a 10-15 minute walk to several train stations. Room is nice. Beds are hard and low compared to USA beds. Bathroom is spacious. Floor was un-swept so hairs and stickiness on the floor in bathroom area. Light switches all darkened from finger prints. Silverware had food reminisce. Opportunity to add English instructions for guests confirming US/UK passports for washing machine, bathroom exhaust, and TV. TV channels limited. Could not get cc in English. Got a surprise cleaning mid week. A message was left on the security pad however we could not play/hear it. Using a real hotel with real staffing would have been...
Read moreWe stayed here with a baby and it was a great place to explore Osaka from. We were a bit worried about checking in as there is no person at the building reception but it went smoothly. The apartment was cleaned every 2-3 days and if we had one suggestion to management, it would be to have some spare rubbish bags in the rooms. Pros: plenty of space in the apartment, washing machine, supermarket and Yamato (luggage forwarding) office just around the corner. Cons: it is a 10-15 minute walk from the nearest station which can feel like a long way...
