Great atmosphere and the best place to eat grilled fish if you’re looking for such a place is Japan/Osaka. The host is super nice and even though he didn’t speak much English he gave us some recommendations and the food was great! We ate everything we ordered. If you go there you also have to try the fruit sake, we drank the mandarin and kiwi ones and they were super tasty. Only be aware that this is the type of bar/restaurant people are allowed to smoke inside.

the boys did a great job considering my Japaneses was so poor. I requested whatever they recommended for our family of 4, they replied "fish"... the food was superb! definitely worth a visit. the squid ink soba & sting ray cheek were hits with my kids.

This is a rare style of grilled skewers. They specialize in fish skewers.

The owner picks the best fish at the market each day and serves carefully grilled plates with perfect seasoning.

He has a rotating menu, that changes to feature the freshest fish and seasonal items. Everything is delicious.

They have custom, house created chu hais, including a spicy chuhai!

Great music, cool decor, and welcoming atmosphere.

The owner and chef speaks English, and are very accommodating to foreigner customers.

The menu is in Japanese, but the owner Ume will happily make suggestions and of course, you can easily translate the menu using Google Translate app. Foreigner-friendly.

One of my favorite local spots, highly recommended.
