Thank you for the other day. It's quite a walk from Sapporo Station, but there are Odori Station, Susukino Station, and Hosui Susukino Station, so I didn't have any problems with transportation. There is also a Lawson nearby. At night, there are a lot of people coming and going as it's close to the downtown area, so if you ask me if the surrounding area is that safe, I wouldn't say it's that safe, but I think it's okay as long as you don't go back to the hotel late. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and everything was delicious☺️Also, the contents changed slightly every day, so I was looking forward to it☺️The staff at the reception were also kind.Everyone at the front desk had great customer service, so I would like to use them again when I come to Hokkaido.I don't know if it was because it was spring break, but there were a lot of foreign tourists. I don't know if it was because of the loud voices when passing in front of the room, or because the walls and doors were thin, but I felt it was a little noisy. Read moreBest 2 things about this place are the location and the breakfast buffet - one of the breakfast crew speaks perfect English and is very friendly, offering advice when he has any on the given topic. It's not an easy walk to the hotel from Susukino station, with luggage, as the roads tends to be iced over, but it's really not far.Front desk staff are all very friendly but they don't speak a tonne of English. They do however use translators and are very helpful.I'm a bit of a coffee snob so the 24h free coffee in the lobby isn't fantastic, but it's not terrible at all and it is bottomless and free. (May not be 24h, but it's open all day and evening at least)Overall I had a very pleasant stay here over multiple days. Rooms are clean and quiet and the beds are very decent too. Delicious food right around the same area too (Butadon Matsumoto...
Read moreI arrived in Sapporo in the morning, so I left my suitcase there before check-in and checked in at the same time, so check-in from 3pm went smoothly. I took only the amenities in the lobby that I would need, and when I got to my room I contacted the front desk to borrow them for free. They lent me a humidifier, extension cord, and hair iron, which was very helpful.I think it would be perfect if they had makeup remover, lotion, and milk.I'm really glad I took advantage of the breakfast buffet. They had Genghis Khan, soup curry, and milk, which are unique to Hokkaido.I'm glad I was able to use this hotel on my first trip to Hokkaido. I'd like to use it...
