Not friendly to foreigners-- We visited in the snowing winter. We were 2 girls waiting at the front door for 20minutes for empty seats. And when we finally got in, the clerk passed me a piece of paper saying foreigners should pay "small-dish fees about 500YEN/person" for very dry food in small dishes--they should have informed us that when we were waiting! In addition, the food in this restrauant is expensive, even for me-- I've studied in Kyoto...

While there are many food to choose from, and understand the ground rules of having one drink for a person (each person MUST order one drink), their another rule is having each diner to pay 340yen for a appetiser as a table charge. This is a MUST and cannot be refused. I don't understand having a dinner in Japan requires so many rules and require such tips. Why can't they allow diner to eat/drink freely? Not...

Excellent Isakaya sitting next to the Susukino area. Extensive menu and reasonably priced. The food is as good as it should be. Very good for groups but also nice for couple or even family. Foreigners would find it okay to order via the online order system but it would be nice to have other languages as well. Very nice overall. Should be warned that it could be very crowded...
