Hotel New Mitoya — Hotel in Sendai

As part of business trip, I got an opportunity to stay in this exquisite resort. This hotel location is about 30 mins drive from Sendai city centre. Next to the hotel there is Lawson convenience store so you can grab quick travel amenities, although the hotel provides you with full set of amenities. ||||Our group of five people got allocated a room with an original Japanese experience where you got five mattresses and also kimono set. They also have short table with an ocha set, so you can make your own tea in the room (no coffee available though ;) ). The view is quiet nice, mountain scenery with settlements nearby the hotel. ||||It is famous for its complete onsen (hot spring) experience. They have several complex of pools to choose for and they also separate pools for male and female. The experience always refreshing and you will get a good sleep afterwards. ||||Unfortunately they did not provide internet connection in the room, although its possible to get connection...

Stayed at the Hotel New Mitoya for the night. Party of five. About 30 minutes from Sendai in a town called Akiu, a town of hot springs.||Service was first class and all staff were very attentive to patrons needs and questions. Onsen were beautiful and relaxing.||Dinner was fabulous and brought out in stages, breakfast the next morning was buffet style. We only got to stay for one night but it was a wonderfully relaxing experience. Their onsen - bath area - was huge with varying degrees of hot water. It happened to be an evening that was clear and the moon in perfect position to be viewed from one of the outdoor tubs. So beautiful. We had traditional kaiseki style dinner in a private room and the food was phenomenal. Would love to go back and stay a few...
