Grampus Sea — Hotel in Shirahama

Staffs are friendly & hotel location is excellent in terms of economic wise. Like many other onset hotel, there is no bath room in your room & that is not too convenient for outsider like us with kid. However, there is one thing which is exceptionally good that is how wonderful are their staffs. I would like to say thank you to their housekeeping staff since we left our son’ new bought Japanese pyjamas in the room & their staff found it & packed very well together with his little toys. Such warmth action that rocks & make me feel Japanese way of warmth hospitality. Such trivial act make them outstanding as we travel to onset hotels a lot. We experience that is really come from their heart. Besides, I would like to say thank you to front desk staffs: Ms Upadhyaya Rama, Mr Ikuma Okada to make our check in & check out as smooth as they can. Night shift lady who only knows Japanese speaking is also friendly to solve my detergent laundry issue. After all, wish they are blessed of coming future & all their best. The hotel is situated near a famous sight seeing spot, so it was very convenient, and in general the room is clean. When we booked the room, we were aware that we had to share shower/bath facilities, which is quite common in Japan if there's a hot spring/public bath available in the hotel, but we didn't expect there's no sink and toilet in the room also. I was lucky that my room is quite near to the sink area, so it didn't feel too bad when making multiple trips to get water for the kettle or doing some face washing/brushing teeth.The bedding and desk/table were clean, but not sure whether it's because I was staying on the 1st floor/basement area, there was some thick dust at the air ventilation area on the ceiling, which was directly over one of the bed, luckily there's 2 beds in the room, so I slept on the other one.
