The service and overall experience were absolutely terrible. My friends and I felt discriminated against. The noodle cook was helping a white-looking couple with great patience, kindness, and a smile (see pic no.4). But when he turned around, he completely ignored us—even though we spoke both Chinese and English right behind him.
We didn’t know how to use the vending machine to order at first, and there were five staffs around, yet none of them offered to help. It wasn’t until we loudly asked for assistance in English that a Japanese staff member and a Chinese girl came over to guide us through the ordering process. As staff, it’s one thing to help foreigners with patience, but to completely ignore us as Chinese speakers when we were right behind you speaking both English and Chinese is just unacceptable.
The noodles here are fine, but they’re not the typical Japanese ramen. One of the bestsellers, the lobster noodle, is a bit too cheesy and heavy for my taste. You can tell that several different sauces, like sesame dressing and a chunk of cheese, have been added to the broth.
It was a very disappointing experience. We won’t come back. You ABOSOLUTELY didn’t share the save service level provided by Seamore hotel though you...
Read moreCame here with a bunch of friends, had to wait 50 minutes to get seated as this place was popular, but they have a nice seated waiting queue system. I'd say it was worth the wait though.
We ordered some soup and dry sea bream dandan noodle options, with spiciness of 0, 1, and 3 (it goes from 0-1-2-3-Max). At level 3 the spiciness started to overpower the taste of the broth, 1 was quite perfect for a cold night, just enough warmth from the spice while still being able to enjoy the taste. 0 is still delicious for those who don't want any spiciness at all. The ramen was perfectly cooked, springy, and the meats were wonderful.
Saw most of the other patrons ordering the Japanese spiny lobster noodles so it seems to be quite...
Read moreWe went there with 3 of us my husband, my almost 2 years old baby and myself. It was indeed a unique ramen experience. Unlike traditional Japanese ramen, it comes a modern twist. The taste was nice. My husband had the fish ramen with extra spicy..He liked the heat and the extra chili/mala oil was a nice touch. Recommend for thoes who like it hot. I had the lobster noodle, it was very flavorful. We order a small side "French noodle" for our son. It turn out to be a pesto with parmesan cheese noodle, which to me is not so French (to me). The taste as ok, my baby likes it, but was just a little disappointed. Overall would recommend it for thoes who want to try a different...
