Conveniently located in the city centre. Just few minutes walk from the station if you arrive by train. Parking space is available in the hotel for a fee of 1,000 yen but you can't reserve a spot in advance. You will have to be there on the day itself to check if there is any spot available. Parking space in the hotel was full during our stay, the staff directed us to a public parking space that is just 300 metres away from the hotel which costs 1,200 yen for 24 hours. But because we were guests at the hotel, the staff gave us a 400 yen discount coupon upon check in. So at the end of the day, it wasn't such a bad thing not to park at the hotel and it only cost us 800 yen. The hotel was really nice and clean, and the amenities were great. There is a massage chair inside the room! What a bonus surprise and it really came in useful after a full day walking around the city. Nespresso machine is available in the room as well. I read some reviews that say the hotel is a little dated, but I find it quite the opposite. There is also a Handy device (portable wifi device) provided in the room for your convenience if you do not have data roaming in the country. I think there is a public hot tub in the hotel that you can enjoy but we didn't make use of this facility during our stay. Hotel breakfast was intercontinental style. Quality of the food. One interesting thing during breakfast was the nitro cold brew coffee dispenser that was available. Staff were all friendly and nice. It was such a wonderful stay, I would definitely choose to stay here again if I were to come...
Read moreThis was our 3rd hotel during our Japan trip Juli 2019.
It is located 2 minutes walking from the train terminal.
The google image is edited. The hotel is surrounded by buildings and unlike on the google pictures, it does not have a photoshopped blue sky behind it. It is entirely surrounded by buildings.
Because of this, the lower floor rooms have a limited view. However the floors about the 2nd will have a reasonable view. Some rooms are equipped with extra's. Mine for example had a relaxing massage chair, while other guests did not have this extra. The chair was free of charge. no coinboxes, so i used it plenty!
The rooms are new, clean and modern. So is the rest of the hotel.
Hotel staff are a bit obsessive about showing you where you have to sit during breakfast, so if you like to pick your own spot, you will have to prepare for an arguement with staff. They are very gung-ho about assigning you a seat. The food quality of breakfast is decent, yet nothing amazing. They serve both english type foods as japanese (however english type foods are medioce).
As for onsen, they are terrible. They had 3 sort of hottub/bubblebath tubs that didnt work properly and a vapor sauna which constantly sprayed perfumed water into the air, which in turn gets in your eyes and stings incredibly. I did not enjoy their onsen facilities. just because of that, im deducting a star on the total rating.
The receptionists were friendly, helpful and supplied us with free umbrellas during...

no elevator : fortunately theres only 2 floor on this building heater only in bedroom: we stay near end of nov and its freezing cold. Turn on the heater but still need to wait for awhile until its not that cold. the bedroom is okay since it has heater + 2 ac with heater + 2 layer window. But, the kitchen living room area has no heater and only 1 layer window. We are a group of five, so we can only put our luggage in the living room meaning we need to walk back and forth in that cold area. theres no place to entrust your luggage if you arrive earlier than your check in time ( Theres no coin locker )
The price is affordable but definitely need to consider the weather before booking the...
