This is my second time staying in a business hotel but my first time to stay at APA. I booked my single room no smoking via online through their official website and choose to pay at the hotel when I arrived.
The check-in time is quite late in the afternoon (3 PM) but I can storage my luggage here because I arrived early and need to catch the event I attended.
Staff was helpful. Not all of them were fluent in English but their service and hospitality would satisfy you ;)
The room space is quite OK for me though I've been in another business hotel that has wider room than this one but I don't complain because I only stayed here for a night. It might be challenging for a solo traveler with huge suitcase though.
The bathroom space also OK. I love the range of the amenities they provided! Their body soap has fruity energetic scent so it's perfect to ease you a bit after a long day at Tokyo :D I especially love their pillow!!!! It was very soft, bouncy, and perfect to put my head and shoulders for a rest. I didn't have a sleep trouble too :)
As for the location, I think it is very subjective to each individuals depends on your trip plan. But I'd like to recommend this hotel for you who have a short stay and need to go back to the Haneda airport while still want to enjoy some Tokyo's spot like Shibuya, Harajuku, etc. Nearest station would be Higashi-Nihombashi st. to the airport st. and if you have heavy luggage, you can take coin lockers while you're transiting at Shimbashi st.
Also, note that you actually can extend your check out time. You'd need 1,000¥ for an hour. I checked out at 12 PM so I paid 2,000¥. By 10AM they already called my room and confirmed my desired time.
Overall, it was a pleasure to stay here. Especially because my favorite kombini, 7-11, is near too ;) Thank you for your kind service. I wish you the best luck...
Read moreStayed here twice for a total of 4 nights. We were given a high floor and quiet room as requested. The bed was firm and comfortable. Pillows were thin but firm, hence confortable when stacked up. Water pressure in the shower was good. There were also many charging points around the room. Yukata was provided for use in the room. The location was great as it was easy to get to the trains and a straight line to the airport. There were restaurants, family mart and medical clinics near walking distance. May take longer to go to the tourist attractions. The room was small, but it had all the essentials. Thus, it was good if you just needed a place to go back and rest. It was priced reasonably per night, but do not expect anything luxurious with the price. I appreciated the fast check-in and check out with and fuss free luggage storage with the QR code. Toiletries were provided. The staff at the lobby were also very helpful when I fell ill and provided me with a thermometer and helped call the nearby medical clinic since my husband and I do not speak Japanese. The only thing I was disappointed with was I was unable to watch netflix on the TV using the screen mirroring despite the facilities on the booking site saying streaming services like netflix were available. The room was also only big enough for one luggage to be opened at one time. Hence, it made packing a little inconvenient. The heater worked well during the winter season. There is also no washing machine on site. Overall, it was value for money and a much better deal than other hotels at...
Read moreSo many amazing and heartwarming experiences on my recent Japan trip: the foodtrips, the sights and sounds, the kindest and most helpful people, and the learning opportunities. And I have to say, staying in this hotel was the best decision I've made because it helped make everything easy and convenient.||Nestled in a calming and peaceful district, this APA Hotel provided the balance of peace and quiet to Tokyo's fast and action-packed. There were lots of food options and grocery stores nearby. And when you get hungry in the dead of the night, there are convenient stores (7-11, Lawson, etc) just within walking distance. The rooms are efficiently-designed. You could charge your electronic devices and manage all the lights in the room from your headboard. Yes, the rooms are small which are typical of Japanese standards, but has anyone gone to Tokyo just to sleep? You'd be out and about almost the whole day anyway. It's reassuring enough to know that you'd be coming home to an efficient, clean, and conducive hotel stay at the end of the day.||My most favorite part? Easy train access direct to/from the airport because the train stops at Bakurocho Station (¥1,340 one way as of January 2023). Bakurocho Station is also just two stops away from Tokyo Station (¥140 one way). Easy and convenient. Already looking-forward to staying at this hotel again on my next...
