First a warning: there are two Resol hotels in Akihabara. They or both on the same street, owned by the same company and decorated in the same style. However, one overviews the river and one overviews the train tracks. So if you had your heart set on either view, please be careful when booking.||The street where these hotels are located used to be a shady backstreet of Akihabra, but with all the new buildings it's gained a lot in allure. The location is about a 1 minute walk from Akihabara station JR Line and about 5 minute from Akihabara station for Tokyo Metro.||The hotel called "Resol Stay" overlooks the train tracks. The style is a modern interpretation of Japanese natural and warm hospitality. The reception floor also offers washing machines, work spaces and a meeting space with free drinks (tea, apple juice, orange juice).||My room (#810) has low ceilings (the bathroom is even lower), while warm shades and wooden accents set the tone. Very nice for a 3 star hotel! There's no safe in the room, which for me is a big problem (meaning I had to carry my laptop and camera with me every time I left the room). Other than that all necessities are there. The Internet connection is quite fast, no complaints here either.||The only real complaint is about the air vents. Fresh are is blown into the room constantly, but at such force that the person sleeping in the left bad might seriously catch a cold. It would be nice if the power of the airflow could be regulated by the guests. At the 8th floor the noise of the trains passing by was minimal and never disturbing.||Other than that, Resol Stay offers a nice room at a...

I booked 3 nights in this hotel for 2 different rooms. Clearly the junior receptionist firstly met such case so she asked a senior staff for the following handling in system but not sure why she asked me if i could able to downgrade my room in the first night without any compensation. I definitely do not accept such offer because i already paid what i need to pay in this 3 nights. And i am not sure why she offered me the downgrade of room but not asking me if i want to upgrade my room in another 2 nights with additional charge. Therefore i asked back what if i want to upgrade my room then how much i should pay in extra. Unfortunately, the senior staff come without greeting then gave me a long face and said there is no upgrade room offered in the further two nights. I am still thinking this is Tokyo attitude at that moment but just a minute later, two white guys come and asked for her help then that senior staff that gave me long face a minute ago bursted into smiles and helpful attitude. That is so unbelievable that actually i didnt do anything bad or wrong, i just want the reception give me the room i have booked and that’s all. I think the junior local receptionist would like to help but just unable explain herself well in English so i am OK with her service but i just cant accept such service from the...

Positives:- Location is great - a couple of minutes walk from Akihabara station, from which it’s easy to access lots of areas of Tokyo. - Staff were excellent. I only dealt with the front desk staff, but they were very warm and friendly, and gave lots of information when checking in- Bathroom is a good sizeThings to consider: - The room is very small - my room was smaller than it looked in the picture, and I think calling the bed a ‘small double’ was a bit of a stretch. As I was travelling alone it was fine, but I wouldn’t want to share a room that size. It was difficult to open my suitcase in the room. If I was staying for longer than a few days this would have bothered me.- I couldn’t work out how to open the curtains. They should consider leaving some instructions in the room. I was hardly in the room and only stayed a couple of days, otherwise I would have asked reception about this- Rooms are not made/cleaned daily, but fresh towels and water is provided everyday. The towels are not big bath towels. If you are, ahem, a larger person, the towels will be a little small for you. I had this issue and it’s not really a problem, but something to note. Overall I had a positive experience here and would stay again. The main positives for me were the great location and...

Feels Like Home Staff are the core of this hotel, is like coming back home after a long day and having a warm smile when walking in. You might also be welcomed by Maro a cute little LOVOT robot, make sure you say hi (in japanese) Maro will get all happy. Rooms are perfect, expect clean towels and water every day! Oh, and you get views of all the trains passing by without being disturbed by the noise. Super soundproof! My husband and I love it here so much so that we've stayed at this exact hotel three times and already planning on staying again next year. They also have a whole area to relax with free drinks while train watching. And a laundry room with three washing machines and three driers (you don't need ¥100 coins if you are happy to use your card via app, if you want to use coins its ¥300 for washing and ¥100 for 30min of drying -I recommend ¥400 to dry a full washing machine) Perfect location, just a couple minutes walk to Akihabara station and everything that Akihabara can offer in the palm of your hands!. Combini round the corner and Kanda station is also close-by. 30min walking distance to Ueno park!

One of the reasons for picking this hotel was because it's still walkable from Tokyo Dome after watching the Eras tour concert. This hotel turned out to be better than I expected. The room is small, but for Tokyo standards, it's understandable. Choose a twin room for a slightly bigger space than a double room. It's pretty new, so it's very clean and modern. Despite the small room, the bathtub is large and deep enough for a big and tall person! They don’t offer breakfast, which is a bit disappointing, but the location is pretty convenient with many convenience stores, izakayas, and restaurants nearby. They also have a common area with complimentary drinks, coffee or tea, some snacks and laundry facilities. Their honey tea bag was so good that I kept coming back for more lol. The hotel is in a good location in the interesting Akihabara area. It's less than 10 mins walk to Akihabara station via the pedestrian bridge.

📍 Great Location & Comfortable Stay! The location of the hotel is super convenient — it's close to multiple train lines, making it easy to get around Tokyo. 🛏️ The room was clean and just the right size for two people. All the amenities were modern and well-maintained — everything felt fresh and taken care of. 🧼 Housekeeping is not done daily (once every 3 days), but towels are replaced every day, which was perfectly fine for us. 🛋️ The lobby area is spacious, a great place to relax or get some work done. They also offer a variety of free drinks, and you can even watch the trains go by from the lounge area — such a nice touch! 😊 The staff were absolutely lovely — friendly, helpful, and always smiling. I even had a package delivered to the hotel, and they took great care to receive and hand it over to me safely. I was truly impressed with the service and overall experience.
