I had a really good time. I wanted to try something out right before I had to leave for my flight and thought a maid cafe would be a nice unique Japan only experience I could take with me. I only speak a little Japanese but I had no problem with talking to the maids. Compared to the other maid cafe I went to, a lot more maids came up to me and talked to me so that was nice. There’s essentially an hourly fee of around 800 yen and then they recommend the combo sets which are an added cost that lets you take a photo with a maid of your choice which are around 2300 yen. The menu is written in English as well so it should be ok even if you can’t read Japanese. I also paid for a live performance which happens on the centre stage of the cafe which was really cool. You get to pick a song for the maid to dance to and they have a list of songs that you can choose from (all written in Japanese). I think some of the maids are definitely less confident at speaking English than others but they still try their best. I will definitely come back next time I’m in Japan and I highly recommend this experience if you’re looking to try out maid cafes. The cafe is located in the 10th floor of a building right next to Akihabara Station so it’s also really convenient to get to. Thanks Riine (りいね) for the photo and Kira (きら) for the awesome...
Read moreIt was my first time visiting a Maid Cafe, and I could not be any happier about my experience. It was an unforgettable experience, absolutely great.
I had the Goku-goku combo, which includes a "special" cocktail enhanced by the Moe-energy by a particular maid and a photo. I also got the photo upgraded to a group Polaroid-like image which I then got to keep. The drink was good, very sweet, but I like that. I also had the Berry pancake dessert, which was very good and tasty.
Every single staff member was amazing, but if I had to name specific ones, Uni, Pomae and Airi were all very inquisitive and social. So great service. Definitely will come back again, whenever I get the chance, but you should go here as well if you get the chance and you're in Akihabara! They speak pretty good English, which helped me a ton as a foreigner who doesn't really...
