Stayed here for 3 nights in the traditional style family with courtyard room. The room was pretty tiny and just managed to fit 5 people to sleep. We slept on the tatami mats with the sleeping beds. What it lacks in space it makes up in hospitality and cleanliness. The room was very clean and each day the room service returned it back to that impeccable clean and tidy standard. It is near to 2 subway stations and there is plenty of Lawsons/ Family Mart and supermarkets near the hotel. The service was amazing and nothing was too hard for them. Came in at 11am to drop off our luggage although checkin was in the afternoon. No problem. Late checkout till 12pm, No problem. Leave our luggage with them after checkout to pickup at 9pm to bring to the airport, No problem. They even gave us a map to show us of nearby facilities when we checked in. They also spent time and explained to us as part of the checkin as well. Their hospitality was like a 5 star ⭐️ hotel which was totally amazing!!

The hotel rooms were really nice. The tatami floors look great and the bathroom has everything you would need. The futons were a bit thicker than usual which was great to sleep on. The only downside I could find was that the refrigerator was a bit small, but that is solved by being able to use the full size fridge in the shared area. The staff was amazing. They are very friendly people. Most of them speak English and when they don't understand they'll use a translation device. We were able to have some lovely conversations. The shared area is lovely. It has a fridge, oven, microwave and cooking station. It was nice to have a meal in this area while watching TV. There are lockers for your shoes at the entrance. We also got an umbrella to borrow when it was raining. The location is quite nice. There is not a lot of traffic or surrounding noise and it's quite close to 2 stations. I would absolutely recommend staying here for your vacation!

We just stayed here for a couple of days and it was perfect!! The staff and service are amazing, super helpful, kind and proactive. Truly the sweetest, they gave us some good recommendations, also were patience and flexible with our check in/check out. They also let us keep our luggage for a couple of hours while we waited for the time to go to the airport. The hotel and room were super clean and cute, Japanese style with option for western rooms as well. Our room was super spacious with plenty space for our 3 luggages. The location is also great, super close to a station (Yamanote line, skyliner, etc), just 8 minute walk. The area is super quite and peaceful but it has a Family Mart, the most delicious bakery/bookstore and a couple of other convenience stores super close by. We actually regretted not staying here more days but we will do so on our next trip to Japan. Thank you Wagokoro team, you’re the best!!!

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The hotel comes with traditional tatami mats and futon as beds which were very comfortable to sleep on. The rooms were very clean and the amenities were restocked everyday. The hotel provides hot water, coffee, a microwave and oven in the common room so there is no worry about getting access to those. The rooms are really well tidied everyday and I always came back to a clean and tidy room to rest.

Location wise its is very convenient as its a short walk to Nippori station, which has access to the Yamanote Line as well as the Keisei Skyliner which has trains from/to Narita Airport. There is a 24Hr coin laundry literally a stone throw away from the hotel too so it is very convenient to get laundry done without much hassle or walking. The hotel is located in a very quiet and peaceful neighbourhood so every night i can get a peaceful rest without the hustle and bustle of the main city.

However for me the main highlight was the service. The staff were the nicest hosts ever and were always taking initiative to provide assistance. They gave directions to nearby eateries and other services, provided medicine when my friend was sick and also let me know about things that could have been done quicker, cheaper and more conveniently (such as taking the Keisei Skyliner instead of Narita Express to the airport). They were always seeing if we needed help and were always happy to provide said help if needed, even providing us a place to store our luggage past checkout since our flight back is much later. Overall my stay here has have been the most pleasant experience and I highly recommend this...

While they style themselves as “hostel“ and there are indeed dormitory rooms available, Wagokoro is actually a fully featured hotel. Everything you expect from a hotel is there and much more – 24 hour reception, ensuite bathroom and even common kitchen/dining room. ||||The hotel is nice a mix of traditional Japanese ryokan and modern hotel. We especially liked that you have to remove footwear and use provided slippers when you enter the lobby.||||The staff is very friendly and helpful. Though official check-in time is 3p.m. our room was ready as early as 12:30 p.m. – very welcoming after long flight and jetlag. Even if some of the hotel staff don’t speak English well we encountered absolutely no language barrier. Japanese hospitality is what you really get here.||||Our room for 3 (western style) was a bit small but that’s expected from Japanese hotels. Bathroom was also very small but it even contained a bathtub! Spotlessly clean. Wi-Fi connection was very fast and stable. Some may find beds and pillows hard but again, that’s Japanese way.||||Wagokoro is situated in a quiet neighborhood, there are all usual 24/7 conbini just around the corner and a lot of restaurants near train station. Nippori station is just 5 minutes walk (or 410Y taxi ride if it’s raining or you need to haul heavy luggage). The station is directly connected to Narita airport – Skyliner is faster and sometimes cheaper than NEX train. Yanaka cemetery and Arakawa tram are in short walking distance.||||I must say that Wagokoro provided best value for money from all hotels we used during our two weeks...

The hotel was clean, the stuff îs extremely nice and helpful. the hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the station in a quiet neighbourhood, with fea hood restaurant around.

i found the hotel beautiful on booking, but, on site, it was more of a japanese decorating hotel than a rea traditional l japanese place, and It was lacking some personality (to our taste) . futon was comfortable and was made for us every evening. shower/ toilet room was very small, and the place of the toilet paper was very inconvenient. we had many little commodities. we had free tea and coffee, but not real coffee, which is pity, consider the price. I had a problem with the fact that prices had changed considerably between the website and booking, while i can understand that price may very a little, mainly on WE, i found it too much of a difference when it is doubled, without writing it clearly on the web site (that during certain times you can't bookfrom the website and you have to book through other platforms in double the price you see on the website).

overall, it was a nice experience, which was good mainly thanks...
