Stayed for 6 nights with a friend in a Standard Twin Room. Was big enough to accommodate opening 2 medium/large luggages and still have enough walking space.
Price-wise, scored some early discounts booking on their website in Japanese (nothing a bit of Google translate wouldn’t help with). Good value for money given its Tokyo + location + amenities.
Location wise, it’s a 5-6 mins walk from either JR Yamanote Line, which links you to the important places like Shibuya/Harajuku/Shinjuku just 30 minutes away and Ueno/ Tokyo station around 5-15 minutes away, as well as the grey line at Iriya Station linking you to Ginza and Tsukiji market 15-20mins away. Generally wheelchair accessible from the green line, though a little incline from the slope and across the bridge. Also just one stop away from Nippori Station, where you can take the Keisei Skyliner to and fro Narita Airport.
Design of the place is beautiful and super modern, Instagram worthy but most importantly comfortable. It’s the small details, like providing you with new towels daily by your door even if you don’t need for housekeeping but not forcing you to use it, as well as shoehorns and fabric sprays in your room. Laundry was affordable so it allowed us to cut down on clothes we brought to Japan.
Staff were friendly and spoke English.
We had 1 breakfast at their cafe and it was good value for money and delicious. Their coffee is excellent!

Read moreI had a wonderful stay at Landaboutyou Hotel, which offers a great balance of comfort and convenience. Located near bus, train, and subway stations, it made getting around the city a breeze. The minimalist rooms are simple yet functional, featuring all the essentials like a hot shower, air conditioning, heater, kettle, fridge, TV, blowdryer, toiletries, slippers, and bottled water. I especially appreciated the free personalized items that could be requested, such as facial care products, a shaver, and a weighing scale—small touches that made a big difference.
The hotel also has a cozy restaurant, a laundry area, a comfortable lounge, and a roof deck for a relaxing view of the city. Internet connection was fast and reliable in both the rooms and common areas, which was a huge plus. Nearby, you’ll find several restaurants, including 7-Eleven and Family Mart for quick snacks or supplies.
The room felt safe and cozy, with a unique Japanese-style floor bed and a shower featuring a traditional Japanese tub. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were exceptionally friendly, adding to the overall warm atmosphere of the hotel. I would definitely recommend Landaboutyou for anyone looking for a hassle-free, comfortable stay...
