Heaven Beauty Nail Salon — Local services in Tokyo

When arriving to Tokyo, I was in a dire need of a manicure (more than a month). This place was in the same building as my Airbnb so I figured why not check it out. We rang the doorbell and were immediately welcomed in, despite not having an appointment. It’s a very intimate space so it would be helpful if you could schedule an appointment.

Himawari was so patient and accommodating with me. She had to redo some of my nails a couple of times because the color wasn’t right or it didn’t look right. She was extremely careful and technical with the design that I asked her to do. You can tell that she did a great job because almost a month later, my nails still look great. While she was not super comfortable with English, she did her best and we used translation services to communicate with things that required more details.

Wonderful experience, couldn’t recommend more highly. I’ve never had my nails done so didn’t know what to expect and I’m so happy Heaven Beauty nail salon is my first experience. My nail tech was so kind and sweet. Although her English was limited and I don’t speak Japanese, we managed perfectly fine. I showed her my inspiration pictures and she was able to create a new custom design based on my preferences and checked at every step that I was happy. Both her and her colleague made me feel super comfortable and were lovely. The nails cost 10,900 yen which is equivalent to about £54, in the UK I know this would have cost me at least £100 likely more. The set came out beautifully and I’m so happy with the result. Such a wonderful experience at Heaven Beauty Nail Salon!

I was a walk-in (I walked 30+ minutes as a tourist from the US), and the staff were so kind and accommodating, they squeezed me in before a client that had an appointment to make sure I could be serviced. They made sure I felt welcome and comfortable, even taking the time to check with me at every step to make sure I liked how my nails were turning out and asking questions about my travel experience. Their attention to detail and care really stood out.

What made the visit even more special was that they wished me a happy birthday — such a sweet and thoughtful touch! I'm visiting from the U.S. and was so excited to get my nails done in Japan, and this experience truly exceeded my expectations.
