Great place to stay for a Disneyland trip The price is very affordable. They have a free shuttle but you must schedule day before. It takes about 15 mins to get to/from the parks depending on traffic. They give you an assigned time going and being picked up. Shuttle drops you off close to the entrance gate. The pickup is in a different location. You have to take a train close to the entrance gate to the first stop, so make sure you have some coins $1.40 for 1 ticket. The machines don’t take credit cards or large bills. We went to the parks for 3 days and this was a great service. We stayed 4 nights and the room was just right. Mini fridge, electric water kettle, coffee maker, laundry room. The beds were firm and so were the pillows but we were tired so we slept good. Modern new furnishings. Friendly front desk staff. Spoke and understood enough English to answer all our questions. We took the airport limousine bus from Narita right to Kasai bus station with no stops. The walk was about 17 minutes but on good sidewalks. The train station Nishi-Kasai is only 5 min walk that we took when we left to go to our next location closer to our activities in Tokyo. There alre all kinds of restaurants, food marts, other shopping in the area. Beware of bicycle riders everywhere on...
Read moreWe spent four nights at this hotel which is ideally located to the east of central Tokyo with Nishikasai Station only ten minutes walk away. Be aware that there is an adjacent Best Western hotel called Tokyo Nishikasai at 6-17-9 which causes confusion with taxi drivers! The station is on the Tokyo Tozai line which takes about thirty minutes to reach the Shinjuku business district. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the room was quiet and comfortable with tea making equipment and a large bathroom with an electronically enhanced toilet complete with heated seat. There are a number of good restaurants within ten minutes walk. The hotel also supplies a free return shuttle bus to Tokyo Disneyland which must be booked the day before and is highly recommended. The staff are very friendly and keen to help. It is worth buying a Metro pass at the station if staying for a few days and travelling around Tokyo, which is daunting at first with 35 million people in the metro area, but travelling on the various lines is straightforward and there are always people to help you...
Read moreThis is the newer Best Western hotel in the area I believe, so their rooms look quite new. The room and bathroom are both spacious - 2 double beds plus a sofa, but still I feel spacious with my large suitcase, which is great. Bathtub is located in a separate room in the bathroom. Coffee machine is available in my room as well. ||Its location is an acceptable walk from Nishikasai station, even with luggages. ||There are laundry room and breakfast available on the first floor. ||If you need the shuttle bus heading to Disneyland or Disneysea, you need to request in the front desk when checking in. They offer the bus in the morning once every hour - be sure you ask about the schedule. It takes around 30 -40 mins for the ride, depending on the traffic. On my first ride, I was told that the shuttle bus would come late due to the traffic. However, staff cannot really speak well in English so I felt slightly confused at first. In my opinion, many guests use this shuttle service in...
