Ruma Inn Ikebukuro — Hotel in Tokyo

The area is too cramped and it wasn't as clean as I expected. It was dusty almost every cavities that we see. If you plan on washing your clothes, the dryer doesn't work. Took us ages and all our washed clothes didn't dry up, we had to look for a laundry shop to finish our laundry. The worst part was that, when we entered the room it smelled like someone has been smoking inside. Also, the rule book stated that if we leave an oversized rubbish bag in the room, we'll get fined. But no one takes the rubbish every day and we stayed there for almost a week. So where do we take our rubbish? Just so we don't get fined? In the Brighter side, location wasn't that bad. 15mns going to the station and 7/11...

I spent a week of vacation with a friend. The neighborhood is great and full of good places to go out.

Easy access to the train station, we were able to visit the many shops and restaurants that attracted us.

The host was very available and met all our expectations.

The only downside was the emergency light at night which made it a bit more difficult to fall asleep.
