ðïžCheck the calendar on their website before you go. The pool is closed on some Mondays and other days based on specific rules. Recently they improved a lot on both English and Japanese versions of their website ðð
This is a friendly place overall: staff, other customers, and the facilities all give off a welcoming vibe ð€ð¥°
ðââïžThe pool itself isnât very impressive: itâs 25 meters long and quite shallow (water level reaches about belly or chest height for adults). It might not be suitable if youâre looking to practice things like flip turns or dolphin kicks.
ðââïžWater quality varies. Some days itâs clean, some days itâs cloudy, and occasionally thereâs a strong chlorine smell. Make sure to take care of your skin after swimming here. (update 2025-08-01: they improved water quality a lot recently even though there are more people coming during the summer ðð, but please take care of your skin afterward)
ðOn the plus side, the locker area is spacious, and the shower rooms are large, clean, and have hot water.
ððŒOne downside: the stairway from the shower area to the pool downstairs smells really bad. Fortunately, itâs a short walk. (Update 2025-08-01: recently they improved the smell issue a lot ðð)
Other notes: ðCash only. You buy your ticket from one of two machines (they accept only coins and bills). Itâs 550 yen for a 2-hour adult session. ðAsk the staff at reception if you want to use a locker. Itâs free, but you need to let them know. ðEven if you donât use a locker, you still need to show your ticket to get a separate card for pool access. This extra step can be a bit annoying, and Iâve almost forgotten to insert the card into the pool entrance box a few times (now i no longer forget but start seeing many others forgetting ð€£) ðNo metal jewelry allowed in the pool. Take off earrings, necklaces, etc., before going downstairs. Thereâs a small tray on the inside of the locker door thatâs helpful for storing them. ðStaff maintain the grooming area, but thereâs also a vacuum cleaner you can use to clean up any hair youâve dropped. Some people do this, some donât. It seems more like a polite option than a...
Read moreGreat facility, the staff were very helpful and patient showing us around.
Things you might find useful if visiting: You pay at the machine to the left of reception which has English as an option. The machine issues a ticket with a QR code to access the gates.
After you purchase the ticket go to the counter and show them the ticket and they will give you a locker card and a card for the activity (pool for us).
Remember to keep the ticket with the QR code as you need it when you leave. If you overstay your two hours it will trigger as you leave and you will need to pay the difference.
You need swim gear, hats and towels. The shower facilities have body wash and shampoo so no need to bring any. The changing rooms as clean. There are no private...
