I really wish I could give them 5 stars because this establishment deserves it. It’s the rude guests that brought the ratings down.
It is a nice residential location. Hosts are very responsive and informative. The amenities within the economy-tel were nice such as: hot water electric kettle, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, sponge, dish soap, hand soap, a Shared washing machine area (rooftop), umbrella station, weight scale for luggages and microwave is available for guests to use — be aware that it’s down at the first floor which is an outdoor area and some people might not be OK with this.
Ear plugs were provided but the walls and roof are made of a thin wood. You will definitely hear the conversations of your neighboring guests and the patter of the rain drops—be forewarned that if you are a light sleeper, I would reconsider staying here. I experienced some REALLY rude guests who were noisy from 10pm-0100am projecting their loud voices purposely and I didn’t get sleep at all. The apartment complex has a rule to minimize noise after 10pm but the guests obviously didn’t honor this rule.
Also, I would say this economy-tel is more comfortable for guests of a smaller stature as the stairways (there is no elevator), toilet and shower room are quite tiny and too narrow for taller or wider people. This can be quite a hassle for some.
All in all, I suppose I was content with my stay as it was still a nice location, not too far from...
Read morei stayed here some time ago, and i STILL remember this place. the check in process was so extremely difficult and complicating.
it was the same as an escape-room multiple step puzzle to crack the code to release the keys to the room. im not even joking. we sat there for 15 minutes trying to figure out this puzzle to release our key.
Just give people a simple lock box with a 4 digit code? That should be enough for a place like japan, theyre acting like its an unsafe slum.
the host didnt pick up my calls.
when i went up to the tiny tiny narrow elevator that i couldnt even trust (and i trust elevators normally) i came to the floor they said to go to. there was only one door. and it wasnt marked the same number as the key i got.
this is when i wondered if this was a scam.
Then i tried to open the door with the key. the key didnt work!
there is more to this story but we just gave up decided to stay elsewhere and didnt get a refund.
it seems like an actual room does exist so its not a complete scam, but it certainly felt like it at the time.
This is the only bad experience i...
Read moreThe inn is only a 3-minute walk from the Morishita station (two lines intersect here), which makes it very convenient to get around Tokyo. In my opinion, it is even better than living on the Yamanote line! We had a room on the second floor, which exceeded our expectations. The room looks better than on the photos! The size is very good for a Japanese hotel. The ceiling is a bit low, but otherwise, the place is newly renovated and functional. There is even a very good work staion with a desk and a chair! We had no room service, which we were...
