Kohan no yado Kojima — Hotel in Toyako

I had a wonderful stay at this place. The location is perfect being right in front of the lake and just a street walk across. The place was also very clean and well-maintained, with heaters that kept the place warm and cozy. Parking was also available right beside the place. The owner was incredibly hospitable as well, providing us with coffee and chocolate. The owner was also extremely helpful in assisting me when I left something behind. I would definitely recommend this place to families and group of friends visiting Lake Toya. Definitely love to return...

The cottage is located across from Toya lake. It’s a couple minute driving from main hotels and tourist attractions. The whole house was updated, and air conditioning was nice relief from the August heat. We slept on the comfortable futon in the traditional tatami room. All amenities were provided including towels, soap and a full kitchen. Our host, Hide-san, came by to welcome us shortly after we arrived. We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. I would recommend anyone to stay especially families looking for privacy and a comfortable home...

The owner was very friendly. He bought us welcome gifts. He even informed us about the weather around the area. The scenery was fantastic as well, as you are greeted by lake toya the minute you step out of the house.Overall it was a great experience and the owner was very hospitable and friendly, I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone interested in visiting lake...
