Mitten Pizza is a cozy cafe offering a selection of pizzas, each served with a small complimentary dessert.
Pictured here is the Teriyaki Chicken pizza (medium, ¥1700) with a cup of Dutch Coffee (¥500) and tasty rice pudding. While single large pizza might be filling enough for two people, if you’re a bigger eater (or fancy trying the different pizzas), consider getting one medium per person to share. Menus are in English and Japanese.
Do local ingredients make a better pizza? Quite possibly. The pizza definitely stands out. Made with 100% Hokkaido wheat and natural yeast, plus a variety of seasonings, the outer layer is crispy, while the inside is soft and chewy.
If you’ve younger kids, they’ll love playing with the animal seats - or even serving “pizza” from a playhouse within the cafe.

Wow! The food is delicious! We got the Margarita pizza and the Teriyaki pizza. You can tell the ingredients are fresh - the dough is very delicious! For the price compared to other places around here, you get your moneys worth. With the quality of the ingredients and pizza, it’s a no-brainer.
I think the place is owned and run by a mother and daughter - they were very kind to us while we were here! I would definitely return any time.
