Lake Toyako Long Run Fireworks Display — Attraction in Toyako

Simple but very interesting fireworks show. The night I visited have 2 fireworks boats. They will move along the walking path from west to east. People on the road will walk and follow the show. They will stop at 3-4 locations to perform the fireworks show. Relaxing entertainment. The cruise will follow the fireworks boats for the best view I guess. I didn't join the cruise and not sure about the take off time and price.

Summer Fireworks Show at...

One of the more disappointing fireworks that I’ve seen. The fireworks do not appear choreographed and seem to be set off at random. The fireworks are mostly set off individually with a rather long pause in between.

Took the boat to view the fireworks, 1,700 Yen for each adult. Boat was cramped with many other tourists, so had to jostle for a good view. Did not think it was worth it.

But if around the area, free fireworks is better than...

On May 7 (Wed), 2025, my wife and I boarded a castle boat and watched the fireworks from its top deck. On May 8, (Thurs), my wife and I watched the fireworks from the lake front. The daily 20 minutes showtime begins at 8:45pm. While the perspectives and feel were different, I prefer the down-to-earth one, and the images with the boat in the background...
