This hotel is really good because it is close to Abdaly and Tabarbour if you need to take a taxi or bus to another location. There are a few airlines and tourist agencies right in front of it, so it is also convenient. Just be careful from cab drivers who see you coming out of the hotel with a bag because they will treat you as a tourist and ask for high prices. So if you need a taxi, wait for the taxis who have seen you step out of the hotel to pass, and then stop one. The room was big and so was the bed. There was a fridge but it was empty and did not have any drinks or water. The bellboy asked me if I needed water, but it was late at night and I said I was fine. I turned on the AC on warm and it was working. The sheets seemed old and not as white as they should be, so I would recommend the hotel to change the sheets or get a new covering. I wanted to take a shower, but there were not any towels, so I called reception and they delivered clean towels after about 10 minutes. The water pressure was a bit low and this is probably common as it is a busy neighborhood in Amman, but it was warm. There was a bar of soap in the bathroom. I woke up for breakfast at about 9 or 10 am and there was almost nothing left on the breakfast buffet, but the staff were so very kind and brought me a plate with two boiled eggs, tomatoes, lettuce, bread, jam, juice and tea. There were a group of students it seemed and they were a bit noisy in the morning and were inconsiderate of other people in the hotel. The bellboy helped me with my bag when they heard me coming up at night, but it seemed like there was nobody there for the morning shift, so I carried my bag downstairs. It is a very reasonable price and good for a short stay or if you want to stay in a place to...

For a leisure trip to Jordan that started in Amman, i wasn't sure what to expect, but with my budget i reserved a room at New Park Hotel and i am so glad i did. The hotel is across the street from the citadel, and a few traffic lights away from the Roman Amphitheater and the Jordanian Museum, the hotel is downtown Amman and it's sort of Mardi-Gras of the country, it is so much alive with shops of all markets, restaurants. The hotel itself is very much under-rated, very clean and the rooms come with five star hotel amenities, the breakfast is traditional and the dining area is spacious, they even have a mini gym i used instead of my usual morning walks. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable of the in's and out's of the area and can help you sort out your days very well, they also arranged my tour to the Dead Sea for the next day at a great price. Just be prepared to climb the stairway with your luggage to the reception before the elevator to your room floor. I highly recommend it to any new...
Read moreJust, don't stay here.||||Honestly, don't.||||I don't want to sound privileged but I travel 100+ nights a year, usually staying at Starwood properties. If you expect your hotels to have working wifi, hot water, and to be clean - this place will not meet your expectations!||||Red flags arose the moment my taxi pulled up at the hotel. It had no lobby and was literally just a building next to a highway! I entered the hotel and was greeted by a nice gentlemen who spoke English, but it was immediately clear this was not even a mid-range hotel.||||Alas, it was 11pm at night and I had been traveling from Kuala Lumpur, so I had no choice but to stay here. I was so cold as the hotel had no heating. There was no hot water and even if there was I wouldn't have used it as the shower was dirty.||||I slept in my winter coat that evening, checked out three days early in the morning, and took a taxi to the nearby Sheraton. I suggest you stay...
