Fahari Palm — Hotel in Nairobi

To begin with, I was impressed that the photos on the website are exactly what the rooms look like. The room was decent, clean and equipped with all basic amenities (bottled water, slippers, soap, shower gel etc) ||However, in the morning, as early as 7.30am/8am the housekeeper was very noisy while cleaning the neighboring rooms. The noise literally woke me and I couldn't sleep at all. At breakfast, hygiene levels were very wanting. The tablemats are old and dirty. The man making the breakfast was unclean in that he directly touched the sausages with his bare hands. He neither wore gloves nor washed his hands prior to doing this. He kept touching his face and picking his nose while cooking. This was very disgusting. I was also disappointed that they use solid fat to cook their food and not liquid oil. ||The place also doesn't have an Mpesa paybill number which is inconveniencing. I stayed in this hotel. While I was out, they packed my personal stuff and took my luggage to the reception for me to check out as they forgot to tell me that someone has booked the room where I was staying. So they treated me like a begger while the mistake is coming from them. It was an horrible moment for me and I was very desappointed. Their action was unprofessional. I will never stay in that...
