We stayed here for three nights while in Nairobi. A couple little hiccups with water when we checked in but a very nice hotel. A breakfast buffet with a wide variety of foods both hot and cold. A chef will create made to order omelettes for you. Delicious. Very nice staff there especially Suzanne. Dinners here were composed of fresh foods. Off to the left we watched the chef pull fresh greens and herbs from the hotel garden for salads and garnish. Avocados grew there too. What a great concept. Grow the food for the restaurant right outside the door. The rooms were adequate and comfortable with nice furnishings. There is an outdoor pool but we never had time to try it out. The spa was a treat. Great massage, free steam room and very nice decor. Good prices too. Right out the back door of the hotel, or rather the security gate, is a three storey mall with a food court, a liquor store and many lovely stores with a wide variety of goods. We would stay here again. Convenient from the airport, comfortable and well secured with controlled gates, security personnel and both a high wide hedge and a high iron bar fence. We enjoyed our stay.

Visited the spar here and used their pool too. The pool is pretty nice and clean but the tables were dusty and some stools broken. The food was also very cold when it finally came and honestly I felt the menu misrepresented what they had to offer! Not impressive at all. I did like their fresh orange juice though, which was also a bit overpriced....but if you don't mind the price, the juice is really good. I will also point out that was the only juice available which was very limiting in terms of choices. In the spa, the hygiene levels are impressive but the robes and some towels were pretty worn out and the slippers discoloured but the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, made you forget everything else....I would definitely recommend the spa. There was also ample parking and the place was not crowded which made swimming quite enjoyable.

Just wanted to express my disappointment especially on how insensitive and unfriendly the facility has been more specifically to a guest traveling with a toddler (1 year old). It’s a shame that the hotel refuses to even offer services as basic as warming food or even creating an accommodating space for necessary assistance even when I took the initiative to request. By far, the worst stay with a toddler, and I have seen better places that would be flexible to accommodate a child’s need. I do not recommend!

Do not stay here if you value your LIFE! ACID in Water Bottles given to customers of Jacaranda, update on SEPTEMBER 2023. Jacaranda Management (General and Security Management) promised me they would find out who put the acid in a water bottle in my room. They said they would check the CCTV recordings, smart lock records, and take the liquid I drank to police for further analyses and get back to me with further information. One year later, they have not done it, and have not given me any explanation on what happened. How is it possible that hotel branded water left in customers room includes ACID?

In SEPTEMBER 2022 Jacaranda housekeeping left a water bottle filled with bleach or some or acid type of liquid in my room! I had to rush to Emergency Room in Aga Khan Hospital. By the time I arrived at ER, acid had burnt my mouth and thong, and there was not much they could do any more. I was lucky not to swallow the acid, but spat it out fast after noticing it was not water. I strongly recommend you...

I loved Jacaranda hotel. It's a destination of its kind. I recommend to both locals and internationals for a classic service. Location, weather, setup, user friendliness, security and much more will make every customer fall in love with the hotel. You may not need explanation or may not even literally taste the delicacies here, the aroma tells it all, nearly making you hungry even when full; it makes you crave for at least a bite, rather you spend some time till you can get enough space to accommodate the diet here. Customer is okay though may need to be worked on a bit in order to be accomadative to all customers... A saying goes "the customer is always right"... I believe handling customers with calmness, understanding and in a welcoming way would go a long way to bringing back the customers time and again and create a sense of belonging. Good work ongoing in Jacaranda hotel with a good...
