[Review updated] My stay at Kamake was originally planned for two years, but I ended up staying for five. It was an extremely comfortable experience, with the team responding promptly to various requests. As a Japanese person, I particularly appreciated the bathtub — a rare feature in properties in Nairobi, but available at Kamake. The location was also highly convenient, with my workplace nearby, a comprehensive sports facility (where I played rugby and tennis), and Carrefour Mega just a 7-8 minute drive away for shopping. I also enjoyed relaxing from time to time in the sauna or pool.
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the owner, Mr Christopher, the management team including Faith and Beatrice, Karani from maintenance, Faith2, who handled daily cleaning, and the security team. Thank you all for making my stay so pleasant.
[Previous Review] I have enjoyed my over 2 years stay in Kamake Gardens Serviced Apartments in Nairobi Upper Hill.
The place is ever clean, within a secure and quiet neighborhood. The staff are always professional with quick turn around time and personalized services.
The on site restaurant is very convenient for those days where you don't feel like cooking from your fitted kitchen.
It is not by surprise Kamake recently won an award for Best Furnished and Serviced Apartments, 2020.

Read moreThis place became my home for almost 5 months and I loved it!
The personnel (special thanks to the manager) is super friendly and helpful. Location is good and the area in general is peaceful and safe. Apartment was equipped with everything that might be needed during few months stay+ I loved the design and the furniture (e.g. The bed was very comfortable and big). Besides in all apartments they have very nice big balconies. The quality of daily cleaning service is on super high level (I was really impressed, so many thanks to housekeepers). They also have small gym and pool.
Coming to cons, 200-300m road to Kamake is in terrible condition (hopefully it'll be fixed soon because it was under maintenance when I left in July). There's also a generator outside which is pretty noisy (but it depends on the location of your apartment. In some you could hear nothing). Wifi wasn't strong from time to time (but it's a common problem in Kenya). For this level of accommodation, I'd also put dishwashers in all apartments. Summing up, I definitely recommend to choose this place for long...
