Java House - Yaya Centre — Restaurant in Nairobi

Java is a location which can be found in many shopping centers and locations throughout Nairobi. The concept is easy but substantial and good quality for the money. Different types of small dishes also to take away. Different good coffees and teas and my favourite is and was always a hot 🔥 Dawa which is ginger and tumarec and honey and is helping with every small flu ..BUT it is really hot 🔥 🥵 and needs to be digested very carefully The waiters I met were all very helpful and smiling which I liked a lot. Also having some extra questions or moving a drink into a go away was not at all an issue. The atmosphere is relaxed with dim lights and not too loud... no loud music is playing so also a good way to relax and look out of the big window and watch people. All in all always a good location to kill time or meet dear friends ...

Only CON : TOO LITTLE WALL OUTLETS TO CHARGE A...

Waited for 40 min for an egg and cheese buritto. What I got is a poorly made hard outer layer burrito with stinky cheese. The three girls in customer service tried to help and offered me something else. That is all they could do. I was complaining that I just wanted a proper burrito and it was extremely horrific - they admitted but still charged me and have me a chapati with egg instead and beans. They were helpful and courteous but it is shocking that the customer cannot get what he pays for because of their inefficiencies. They were telling me that the chef had challenges in making a burrito - of the chef does not know how to make it, why don’t you remove it from your menu instead of scamming customers of their money and giving them something else that they do not...

Fit the first time ever I have reasons to complain about a joint that's among my favourites. If only this was the first time they did this I wouldn't say anything but nooooooo Service is still to slow. You wait upto 15 minutes to get served unless you go for them. I ordered a beast burrito.... Hmmm not only did it come like 30 minutes later, but the beans and meat were super salty. Asked them to change it for me and maaaan they only added water and brought the sane thing back after 20 more minutes... It was horrible... Especially since I'm a java fan. This want cool at all... This gotta change if this review has to...
