In case you are confused, there are 2 different properties in the city under this hotel name. This property is the one along Allazu street. And if you are a Google Map user, it will point you to the street behind which is a mapping error. The only entrance is the one on Allazu.||The low-key apartments here can easily accommodate families and also come with kitchens. The building is within walking distance from the train station and not far from the train tracks. You can hear light humming of the occasional trains passing but it’s fairly soft and didn’t bother us. From here we would walk into the town each day, which is about maybe a 15min stroll to the centre. There is a couple of large supermarkets nearby which make it pretty convenient for supplies.||The spacious apartment is pretty fuss free and the family-owners (living next door) very much leaves you on your own devices after checking in. There is no breakfast service. There are curtains that do a fair job blocking out the lights in summer, but they are not the blackout ones. We had a sofa bed in the living room and a double bed in the bedroom, which are fairly comfortable.||On the spacious compound is a couple of swings which my kids always like to hang around, and loved playing with and feeding the owner’s cat and dog would hang around. There is a laundry room which also serves as a luggage room (we did not ask if we could use the washing machine). Wifi service on the ground is fairly good, although for some reason sometimes you have to manually reconnect to it.||The property worked well for us particularly because it offers plenty of roomy family apartments. Plus we didn’t like to lug our luggages too deeply into town, happy to live nearer to the train station and explore the sprawled out...
Read moreThere're a few apartments for rent here and the owner lives in the house next door - you're left very much on your own after you checked in.||||The apartment :||I booked a Studio apartment which is on the ground level. Good points : clean and adequately furnished with the standard necessities like liquid soap/shampoo, hairdryer, mini fridge, LCD TV, heater etc. Teabags are provided free which is a nice gesture. Bad points : No washing machine. Window is small and looks into a patch of grass and the neighbours' houses. This is a residential area so there's no view to speak of. Very dim lights in the apartment and some lights don't work.||||The location :||Less than 10 minutes on foot from the bus and train stations (where the tourist office is). Diagonally opposite large Elvi supermarket (which has a cafeteria that serves inexpensive, delicious food, rather similar to Lido) is diagonally opposite. Very quiet area even though it is facing the train tracks. Restaurants, cafes and bicycle hire shop (10 euro for a day) are about 10 to 12 minutes’ walk away.||||Cost||Very affordable. Everything still looks quite new. A rather good deal as it is so conveniently located - close to so many amenities.||||If you're not too concerned with having good views or being close to nature or amenities (there're more expensive hotels further away from the main centre which have really nice locations or views of the surrounding natural scenery), then this is a rather good, inexpensive and...
