We enjoyed a great lunch at the beautiful, cosy and funky Bazars cafe in the picturesque town of Sigulda, 92km and 1hr drive from Riga. I had a fantastic plate of cold tiger prawns fried in bread crumps with salad & a small plate of warm noodles with vegetables & teriyaki sauce and my wife had a cold jacket sweet potato with salad & tuna, her dream food. We selected the food from the counter and paid for it by weight. I love this place and often take a long ride to eat here, read with a cake and coffee on the terrace. Delicious, healthy, seasonal, good price-quality ratio. Classic recipes with little tricks and secrets. Great professionals, who have not lost their enthusiasm, lust and courage to experiment, which usually pays off well.
