Bookinn B&B — Hotel in Vilnius

I recently stayed at a small and charming hotel in Vilnius' Old Town, and it was an absolute delight. The owner was incredibly kind and hospitable, making sure every guest felt welcome and at home.

I was due to visit the Book Inn in June but due to Covid-19, I contacted the hotel in early May to advise that we might not be able to stay due to travel restrictions and not being allowed into Lithuania. I was told that they would not offer a refund, only a change of date. I explained that I was due to attend a wedding in Vilnius but couldn't go as my flights were cancelled and I was not planning another trip in the future, still I was only offered a change of date. I understand that this is a difficult time for the travel industry but it's also difficult for customers who lose money through no fault of their own. What really upset me was that, just before we were due to stay, Book Inn were advertising accomodation on the same dates with free cancellation. Not a good...

I just end up my business trip to Vilnius, and found this hotel close from my meeting venue. Location was ok, easy access from airport by taxi, rest near by etc. There only 9 rooms, and no elevator, and limited staff avail for services. But front officer lady just told and brief me carefully when I was check in, so its no big issue for me. Also she was arrange bfast box and call taxi for me next morning , due I should catchup early morning flight.
