It's an open secret gem located in the heart of Vilnius. The building is actually a palace, but has super modern high tech surroundings. The center has three floors, as there is no ground floor in Lithuania the ground floor which is actually under the entrance is 1st floor and preserved for Geography, Cities, Residents and Coat of Arms of Lithuania. Has a nice section for memorial gifts received from numerous World countries as well. The entrance, in our case 2nd floor is specialized in history of Lithuania and the palace itself. Right at the desk in the entrance you get your companion tablet which enables you interact with the components of museum and there is also a coffee machine as well as a water dispenser. You can take the stairs or use lift if necessary to reach the 3rd floor, aka the political education floor. If you manage to figure out how puzzles work you can have a fun time discovering your political tendencies and also can watch the clips of famous Lithuanian people. A must see if you are staying in the city for longer...

Some of the exhibits I found extremely moving ( The Baltic Highway for example) A very good museum , quite unlike any I have...

When we visited three was an amazing workshop for kids to make kaleidoscopes, cute wooden hedgehogs or puzzles. Very suitable for kids, I'd say from age 6 as many explosions have interactive features.
To see everything in depth you might need 2-3 hours.
Amazing! Coming...
