I wrote a huge review but deleted it by mistake so here’s a summary. Very good location (walking 7 min from big supermarket, 3 min bus station, 15 min old town), good kitchen, amaaaazing lovely staff, lovely windows with a view and you can sit by it because they are how do you say? Built deeper inside the wall so there’s a comfortable space to read with a nice view. cheap laundry, 2 euro washing 2 euro drying and they even kinda fold my clothes and found 5 euro in my pocket and returned it because they’re the best. The only thing to be improved and it’s very easy to do: check the toilets daily just to see if a guest didn’t make a mess there which was the case when I was there and it happens but need to be checked. Everything was PERFECTLY clean, just these couple days when it was Messi in one toiled and they didn’t realize. Second, there are old people, old men kinda living there, just put them all together and let the visitors stay in another room (if you’re reading this, I bet you can ask them to change rooms because there are plenty! So it’s fine!). It’s just better for everyone and doesn’t demand much effort from the reception guys. Thank you so much and I hope to...
Read moreThe reception woman was kind to let us check in at 8 am. The hostel isn't far from the center but it is an uphill walk. The rooms are small not spacious enough. There are molds in the room which is disgusting. Beds are comfortable but noisy. I wouldn't recommend staying here to any female traveller. There are old men here and and some are super creepy. A man came up to my sister and started showing his finger which was disgusting and creepy! The kitchen was occupied my men 24/7. It felt scary to go to the kitchen to get water or anything because they were always watching. There was music blaring out of the kitchen at 2am. There were alcohol cans and cig smell in the kitchen. The hostel mentions no smoking and alcohol and that there would be a fine of 60 eur but these men were doing it openly. The hostel is apparently a YOUTH HOSTEL but there were so many OLD people and barely any youth! I'd rather pay more and stay somewhere else than here. Wouldn't recommend this hostel to anyone. Thank you for the early check in. The staff were really kind...
Read moreWhat a terrible experience. If you are a women travelling alone or in a group - PLEASE choose another option. ||||The rooms are damp, there was a huuuuge wet spot on the wall, the bathrooms are dirty, but the worst part is: the hostel won’t do anything if other guests harass you. We were a group of women on a mixed gender floor and they gave us a room at the end of the hall (WTF). Every time we would need to go to the bathroom (which, everyone can just walk into, amazing) we would have to walk past a room of very drunk strange dudes, wo verbally and physically harassed us. Instead of stepping in, the guy from the hostel just left the situation and took the side of the other guys, because they were already staying for a couple of nights.||||We quickly left - the IBIS hotel is way closer to the city center, includes breakfast and is only like 6€...
