We chose “Gurmanai” to celebrate our daughter's 18th birthday, and wow, did it exceed our expectations! The restaurant was my wife's pick, and she couldn't have chosen a better place.
From the moment we walked in, the vibe was just right. The place has this nice, cozy atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. It was perfect for our family gathering, which spanned three generations, and everyone, from the youngest to the eldest, found something to love.
The staff were amazing – friendly, casual, and just professional enough to make us all feel special. They played a big part in making the day memorable, especially for our birthday girl.
The food was a hit with everyone. The snacks were a perfect start – tasty and not too heavy. And the main dishes? Absolutely delicious! The chef even sent out a complimentary drink, which was a lovely surprise and made us feel really celebrated.
The meat and seafood dishes were standout winners. They catered to all our different tastes and dietary preferences, which is not an easy feat with a big family like ours!
In short, “Gurmanai” made our daughter's 18th birthday dinner something we'll all remember fondly. It's a place that's got something for everyone, regardless of age or taste. We're already planning our next...
Read moreI had a great dining experience at Gurmanai. I ordered the BRANDINTOS JAUTIENOS MĖSAINIS – a 160g dry-aged beef burger with Swiss Raclette cheese, caramelized onions, BBQ aioli, and pickles, served with truffle-seasoned fries. The burger was juicy and full of flavor, and the fries were crispy with a nice truffle aroma – definitely worth the €18.
To drink, I chose Sanpellegrino Melograno & Arancia – a refreshing combo that complemented the meal well.
For dessert, I enjoyed a mango cheesecake, which was beautifully presented and perfectly balanced in flavor. A cappuccino alongside it was a comforting finish.
All the food was tasty, the service was pleasant, and the cozy atmosphere made for a relaxed meal.
Highly recommend visiting this place!
One suggestion for the owner: please fill in your menu on Google Maps with dish names and pricing – it would make it much easier for people to discover and plan...
Read moreWere there for dinner and celebrations. But it is not a place for couple celebrations indoors. It looks nice outside, but it was already too cold. We made a reservation in the basement, but it was closed (Sunday). In the main room, tiny tables are pressed against the walls and create a strange atmosphere in what is actually a nicely decorated restaurant. Large selection of wine (not everything available). Only ate starter, prawns were good, duck was nothing special. Nicely prepared. The prices, as usual in Vilnius, are far too high, especially for this strange atmosphere and with self-printed simple menu cards. The service was nice and attentive. 4 stars minus one for the high prices - but this is a "Lithuania problem". Don't let anyone convince you that this is normal outside of...
