Pogo Hostel — Hotel in Vilnius

The hostel was very easy to find and is very close to all the old town attractions. A 15 minute walk to the Three Crosses. I was welcomed by a cheery man who was enthusiastic and gave good advice and helped me with any questions. There is a living room type area with a guitar, tv and sofas for relaxing. It was a good, modern design. A small kitchen and a table for eating at was also on the bottom floor next to the reception. My room was on the top floor, out of 3 in total. It was a good design and looked lovely. Lots of colour and light in the rooms. The toilets and showers on the 2nd floor were very small and had a big step in and out of the shower. The toilets on the top floor were much better and there was a shower room through the little cupboard where the dryers were kept. The beds were comfy and already had bed linen on them. Good lights and plugs around each bed, everything was so clean and would have been amazing if the hostel were more busy- guess I picked a quiet...

If you are an independent traveller and not a child needing attention, this place is for you. I liked the thoughtful shoe rack outside each room for preventing potenrial smelly hiker and biker shoes in the bedroom. I liked the thoughtful mesh bag in the washing machine room. I liked the 3 sofa chillout out area with a widescreen Samsung TV to connect your mobile phone...to watch your YouTube playlists or your Netflix. I liked how the gostel is in front of a lushcious green park and castle. I liked the very friendly staff when present who helped make my bed more comfortable for my injured shoulder. I liked the powerful warm shower. Have a coffee nearby in Strange Love Cafe, after hiking 15 minutes across the river up the hill to the 3 Crosses and...

Super bad experience! Although I made a booking beforehand, after arriving they informed me they were overbooked. There is no other places available in such short notice, so I had to change my plans and leave Lithuania the same day I arrived. Booking tried to call them but they didn’t even pick up the phone or answer emails from them. On top of that after I got back to ask them to store my backpack for couple of hours while I go explore Vilnius - while waiting for my bus, they didn’t allow it and were overall unpleasant. Highly don’t recommend this place, they super unprofessional and their booking system is a piece of paper they manually write in - hence the “system error”...
