15 things to do in Vilnius! SAVE THEM NOW! @govilnius was probably one of the most surprising cities I visited this year! It’s super easy access from anywhere, cheap, absolutely stunning, big enough for a long relaxing weekend with some lovely foodie experiences on top of that! This city is definitely one to watch and here are 15 reasons why you should visit Vilnius as soon as possible! . • Stroll through the Jewish ghetto • Climb on top of the Bell Tower for a panoramic view of the city. • Explore the beautiful Pilies St. • Stop at Literatu street for the literature wall. • Go on a church marathon across the city • Climd on top of the gediminas Tower • Stay at the Artagonist Hotel • Grab a beer by the river. • Visit the 2D cafe • Try some of the best food at Paupys Market • Stop at Kitchen Coffee for some of the best pastries in town. • Make a wish in front of the cathedral bell tower. • Attend the Pink Soup Festival • Visit the independent constitution of Uzupis • Book yourself at Džiaugsmas for an incredible dinner experience. . This place attracts many locals and tourists. It employs trendy idea of gastrohalls which is widely picking up in many cities around the world in past decade or so. Bring together different food concepts, mainly street food under one roof so that guests can choose from many options. Best examples which I can think of, like the one in Amsterdam, create highly competitive environment, where only best food concepts survive for the best benefit of visitors. In return you get super busy place. It looks like Paupio aim at a more premium target audience. The venue itself is an atrium of an office center. It's relatively small, but very cozy as there are many green plants altogether creating great ambient. All seats, benches and tables of the food court are comfortable. On the weekends families with kids enjoy time together, so finding a vacant seat can be a challenge. I didn't sense the competitive environment though among the restaurants there. There are few very busy spots with people queuing, and it should be the indicator of some success. Prices are premium as well. I wouldn't go there to seek for some great gastronomic experience, but maybe worthy for a leisurely meet up with friends.

A unique place – a true food court where everyone can find something to eat. A wide variety of cuisines, fresh and tasty food, perfect for lunch. Really liked that there are separate bars with a great selection of drinks, and for just €2.50 you can refill still or sparkling water without limits – very convenient! The place is modern, clean, and has a great atmosphere. I especially want to highlight the cleanliness – the restrooms were exceptionally tidy, which is really important in such places. It might be a bit inconvenient that you have to clear your own dishes, but that’s a minor issue. Highly recommend for lunch or hanging out with friends!

UNACCEPTABLE HOSTILE TREATMENT

My friends and I had an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience at this establishment. Despite being sold very expensive drinks at closing time, we were aggressively rushed out just 10 minutes later by the staff—specifically a white female employee who was unnecessarily hostile and rude.

The way we were treated was completely unprofessional. If the place was closing, they shouldn’t have served us in the first place. Instead, they took our money and then immediately turned hostile, making us feel unwelcome and disrespected. The aggressive behavior ruined what should have been a simple night out.

I would strongly advise others to avoid this hostile place, especially if you want fair and respectful service. There are plenty of better-run businesses that actually value...

Paupio Turgus is a true gem in Vilnius, boasting exceptional design and architecture that makes it a beautiful destination in its own right. This vibrant market hall offers a diverse selection of restaurants, each delivering outstanding culinary experiences at surprisingly friendly prices. We had the pleasure of trying several eateries, and each one impressed us with its quality and value. The venue features both indoor and outdoor dining areas, allowing visitors to enjoy their meals in a setting that suits their preference. The atmosphere is lively and inviting, creating a perfect backdrop for a memorable dining experience. With its combination of stunning aesthetics, excellent food options, and great ambiance, Paupio Turgus is definitely a place we'll be returning to on...
