This place attracts many locals and tourists. It employs trendy idea of gastrohalls which is widely picking up in many cities around the world in past decade or so.
Bring together different food concepts, mainly street food under one roof so that guests can choose from many options. Best examples which I can think of, like the one in Amsterdam, create highly competitive environment, where only best food concepts survive for the best benefit of visitors. In return you get super busy place.
It looks like Paupio aim at a more premium target audience. The venue itself is an atrium of an office center. It's relatively small, but very cozy as there are many green plants altogether creating great ambient. All seats, benches and tables of the food court are comfortable. On the weekends families with kids enjoy time together, so finding a vacant seat can be a challenge.
I didn't sense the competitive environment though among the restaurants there. There are few very busy spots with people queuing, and it should be the indicator of some success. Prices are premium as well.
I wouldn't go there to seek for some great gastronomic experience, but maybe worthy for a leisurely meet up...

My friends and I had an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience at this establishment. Despite being sold very expensive drinks at closing time, we were aggressively rushed out just 10 minutes later by the staff—specifically a white female employee who was unnecessarily hostile and rude.
The way we were treated was completely unprofessional. If the place was closing, they shouldn’t have served us in the first place. Instead, they took our money and then immediately turned hostile, making us feel unwelcome and disrespected. The aggressive behavior ruined what should have been a simple night out.
I would strongly advise others to avoid this hostile place, especially if you want fair and respectful service. There are plenty of better-run businesses that actually value...
