Oikos Poshtel — Hotel in Borneo

Writing with quite disappointed 😞.Situated at hotspot of city centre at KK time square of busiest business area on the opposite of beautiful golf ⛳ view 🪟 from room window and opposite to Imago Mall .Which easily to connects KK time square and malls and multi speciality Gleneagles hospital at the back side of this place and so many shop's are situated near this place. Coming to the point is rooms are good enough for staying few nights with comfort of bed 🛏️ and AC with Neat maintenance. Thing is situated on the crooked narrow area of the mid of building not having any displaying information and board for this staying hotel atleast they should place name board at the front so it's really harder to search this exact location one more disappointed us more is no parking 🅿️ allotment for this hotel we should park on the Imago Mall level 1-3 only for 3Rm per day or else any expensive parking nearby to search hardly. They doesn't mentioned it clearly regarding on parking facilities and also entrance is so dark like entering into cave please fix it any bright light atleast . But room's are really nice to stay .food is currently not available they said late only that also but on online bookings they ve mentioned it compliment breakfast but after came here only comes to know due to Covid S.O.P they currently stop compliment meals, that's fine .But please look on to parking facilities issues and entrance to be brighen and also. please fix any name board on outside definitely it's hard to search those who visit first time to your Place finally room doors are damn harder to open and close should give full force to push and pull to enter and exit please make it normal door opening not a heavy burden feel to pressurize ourselves. So sorry 😐 for long word's .It Means a Lots to all who spends amount to stay at your place with hope. Room with gulf...

“Rawrrrr”

All photo shown are probably from years ago. When putting your first step into the lobby, be very wary, especially if the staff just mopped the floor, you will be given a stern warning that the floor has just been mopped, and repeat again. You are expected to remove your shoes and store them inside the shoe rack provided. And you are expected to know this before stepping into the hotel and putting your dirty shoes onto the freshly mopped floor.

Then you check in and you are required to write your own receipt of the deposit, and sign it. Could be only just me, but I find it weird for me to issue a receipt to myself.

The room features are very basic, with linen that gives you doubt whether it has been changed since the last occupancy because there's some hairs clearly visible.

No TV is provided, so you will need to prepare your own electronic entertainment. In room fridge is available outside your room at the common area, which I would describe as a well stocked workers fridge, wholesome but not awesome, and maybe a bit loathsome. To put it simply, its just messy and there's a stink to it.

The sound proofing is exceptional, in a good way, if you like to eavesdrop on the conversation outside your room. One of the staffs is probably into animal roleplay, specifically into carnivorous animal roleplay. While on the phone, I assume, with another roleplayer, you can listen to her making "Rawrrrr" sound every now and then. This can be pretty awesome if you enjoy being in a safari themed hotel, or on the other hand, gives you the creeps.

Would I recommend this hotel? Some people loved the idea of staying in a haunted house, so who knows, whatever that floats your boat.

The room is fine, but without windows. When booking, we request to check in early at 11am, by the time reach there already 230pm, but their check in time is 3pm. Then the recept tell me that not early check in is allow, unless pay RM30. (As what I know from Agoda, requested early check in due to room availability.) When I check in, the room is ready! Another very sucks thing happened, I have been told that don't make noise after 9pm. When I back from work at 9pm, and take rest & bath to get ready to bed. I heard there was a boy at common area playing game with handphone & talking. I can heard his sound from the room, and the recept was talking with this kid around 11pm, then i said that u told me not allow make noise after 9pm, but they said they are talking something. This is very sucks! The wall in the room was peel off, and the toilet when taking bath all the water go to the toilet area, means the whole bathroom was wet, the water system are not good at all. Not a really good experience stay there for a night even though is very near to Imago...
