For those who can't eat beef, make sure to check with the staff whether any of the dishes (side dish/soup) has beef. Was served a brinjal with minced beef (didn't realise there was beef due to the colour until almost finishing the dish). There was seaweed soup served as well, didn't know it was cooked with beef till eating the meat (meat was covered by seaweed and wasn't obvious that it was beef due to its colour (looked like pork - the meat was white).
Asked the staff the refill drinks/side dishes, but felt like the staff was annoyed by how many times we were refilling (asked to refilled thrice only).
Hard to get the staff attention even after pressing the "call" button. Had to wait for them to walk pass the table/go to the counter to ask for something/refill.
Once entering, the restaurant has a type of smell. Can't really describe what's the smell, but for those who are interested to get their meat cooked in at your table, need to take note that there's no proper ventilation for the smoke to go out in the enclosed space. The toilet also wasn't very pleasant smelling.
Ordered 2 plates of pork belly (total RM80). One plate for RM40 for 2 slices. Felt it was kind of overpriced for the quantity received (photo had 3/4 slices in it).
Tteobokki was not bad, RM40 for quite a reasonable portion.
Had asked the staff to refill green tea and it was not mentioned that they don't do refilling. Didn't know we were going to be charged extra for each refill till we had to pay. (Usually at other Korean stores in KL we can just refill and didn't have...
ย ย ย Read more!! PLEASE READ REVIEWS BEFORE COMING HERE !!
i regret not looking at the reviews before coming here and here's my reason :
Food Quantity : mind you ive ask the waiter how much grams is the Pork Belly and she mentioned its 180 grams. as you can refer to my picture this could barely fill up 2 pax and its already at rm40. you're better off going to Plaza 333 Kbbq all you can eat with that price. Not to mention our Rice were only served once asked. The side dishes were really good especially the kimchi. Tasted like homade , not too spicy not too fermented. !! RICE DOES NOT COME WITH PURCHASING THE PORK BELLY, YOU NEED TO BUY IT SEPARATELY !!
Service : Me and my friend were treated like we were looked down upon because we look like students. As Korean Tourist were being treated well compare to us.
Atmosphere : It feels like a really old school KBBQ place but the lack of ventilation and the fact they used a pan for a Grill does not feel safe at all as...
ย ย ย Read moreA bit pricey for a restaurant located in a quite area.
For a picky taste bud I must say, I love the Korean food here compare to all the places i had in kota kinabalu. Although not many customers visited here, the quality of food is outstanding. There are many variety of food in the menu, i choose something not spicy and for one person portion. It was out of my expectation and it tasted delicious.
However they had charged me something greater than what i have ordered. Only realized their mistake on the next morning (request additional Kimchi and thought I was charged for it, but the receipt did not show). Please double check on the billing and pricing before leaving the restaurant. And donโt ended up carelessly like me. The cashier is a philipino lady with shoulder...
