OYO 90847 Hotel Asia City — Hotel in Borneo

my partner and i always choose this hotel when we go to kk. we stayed at this hotel twice (for new year 2010 & new year 2011). for just rm80 per night, it is the best budget hotel for us so far. we stayed for 4 days and 3 nights on both trips. if you are looking for a cheap, basic and clean hotel room, this is the one..||||on our first trip, the check in and out were very smooth.. very happy with the room and toilet (except for the a bit moldy shower curtain, but still ok for me).. the area outside the window was not so clean (again, still ok for me since it was outside).. ||||check in and out was not so smooth on the second trip (maybe the receptionist was new).. room and toilet were again very clean (including a clean shower curtain).. but the pipe on the sink leaked a bit, but not a problem to me at all..||||the hot water system in the toilet always take time and sometimes not so hot.. sometimes you could hear noise from the next room and from outside.. but we still had a nice sleep thou..||||the reception area (kind of small) and lift were not so nice-smelling (we don't mind, it's not like that we are going to be there for more than 5 minutes)..||||this hotel is indeed in a good location.. just walk to api-api area (less than 5 minutes from the hotel) and there you can find restaurants, bars, cinema, taxi, 24-hours shop and shopping centre.. if we need a taxi to go to the airport, we just ask from the receptionist.. the taxi then arrived for like after 5 minutes..||||if this hotel could maintain this quality consistently, we will definitely choose this hotel again in the future.. if you want to stay at this hotel, just booked from their website..and make early booking,this hotel is always full especialy during the new year or any other...

1.View? Yupp! All you can see is other building walls in front the tiny window. You can request a good view room. So they gave to you. Tadaa! You got a better picture now, and ohh I just can see trees, construction site and several old building. Tiny window again? Nice job guys. Duuhhh! Budget is important to us dude said the head management. Please! Whose the architecture of this hotel? Can you give the plan of room view to the other side?. So means that= Good for them but not for Guests. ||2.Friendly staff? Wooaah! Easy there. Their face like doesn't eat for a week or I can say that they just like have a breakup with their love one huh. Come on! Give some smile man! We want to check-in now or we find other place to stay. Nahhh! I didn't pay for smile at you all the time if i have my worst day now on thoughts the receptionist and house-keeping. Please! Bit advice from wise man, don't bring your life problem to your job okay. It effects to other people. So it means = Good for them but not for the Guests.||3.WiFi? Where do I find it? Please! It's urgent manner! Answer from that receptionist lazy dude said 'uhhh..at here lobby suirrrr' or did he mean 'sir' ? . Only at the tiny lobby. So get up and wear your dress now and bring your laptop or tablet or phone to downstairs = Good for them but not for guests. ||4.Clean room? Nahh! They just have several house-keeping to take care of the room. Maybe from what I saw, 1 house-keeping take care all the room at 1 floor. So each floor just have 1 house-keeping for to request a service. Why? Nahh! Budget is more important to our hotel said the head management. Good! So that means = Good for them but...

On April 2013 - I found this hotel located on Kg.Air. So i ask for available room and then they say already full. Then about 3 minutes later, my wife go there pretend go there ask for available room. Suddenly they still many available room. What is that mean for?!! We stay just for couple days. The room it's soo smelly and old. The window just have 1 panel and maybe just 2'feet tall maybe. WiFi only at Lobby? ||||Service was soo bad!! We just get back from philipine market at that night. We enter the front door and suddenly of from nowhere, the receptionist looked to us like we are their enemies. It's hard for them to smile or just say 'hello' or 'welcome'. ||||Maybe at 12 a.m like that. There was a noise. So, we looked out from the window and we saw the outside hotel full of prostitute. But from look at their outside, it's just like a prostitute a GAY version or Shemale something like that.||||Overall, sorry for the comment, but honestly this hotel need some improvement and especially new workers.
