Padua inn — Hotel in George Town

1.The electric went out for several hours during the night, staff not real friendly and very bad manner for customer.😾😾😾||2. That day I waiting the receptionist for almost 1hours!! Since at noon!!🕛🕛🕛my friends and I tried to find many ways, I asked someone who is a local people to call that number because we can't call.😖😖 My mobile just use the internet package only. I took the picture in my Iphone and stood in front of there security camera.📷 Morover I ask people near the shop, and there guess maybe today is Friday and they will go to Pray🕌🕌 and be back on2.30pm. Yeah I understand muslim people 👌and for sure I can't still here to wait them, I have many plan to do. Finally I decided to go other place it's very far from here and will back to return the key and ask for my deposit money back.||When I back around 8pm. First I ask about 'Would you mind to refund about the electronic problem last night?' and he's answer me that 'What? Everything okay.' 😐😐😐😐You know he's that man I call to check the electronic all night!!! 10pm, 11pm 2am,4am, 5am,😫😫😫 Why did you say that? He made a deadpan face and call his boss speak with me.||She's very loundly and very very bad manner.😩😩😩😩 She said stop and wait her. When she came, she has a big, tall and rude. I talk to her about the problem; the electric and nobody here at noon. She didn't care about us!! point her forefinger☝☝ to our face and noisy. 👹👹👹 What time it is? And blame us 🗣🗣to come here now why there has to paid the deposit money to me? Whatttt? Listen to me pls and check the evidence this I will show you. She's doesn't care!!😤😤|| And shout that we are a forigners who never know the national time to check out is Noon!!😡 Sorry mam I know if you don't believe me you can check your security camera, ask people who I ask around here and check my photo in Iphone please.☺☺☺☺|| Her said is not her business to do it. 😨😨😨So I point the door you said you have a receptionist 24 hours right?? 😡😡So why nobody here at noon that you know has people check out? 😧😧😧😞😞 she said people here have many things to do like clean the room and!! we had no other choice as we reach late night in penang without making any booking. we had earlier read through all the reviews and was kind of afraid to stay at Padua. we reach the hotel around 10pm and was attended by an indian worker. the room that was left located on the third floor and we had big luggages to carry up. when we trying to check in....the owner came there. she seems to be so kind that she and her worker helped us to carry the luggage up. In my entire life...i have never seen an owner so humble and she still did a hard job to hep us that night. she still helped us about getting the langkawi tickets. i dont see any problem about her. About the room....it was still clean and nice. Padua has the most biggest toilets compared with other budget hotels in ferringhi. we never had any problem staying there for all our 3 nights. Im writting this review to make some people understand that the circumstances will not be the same always as how we read from others. some people expect more than what they pay. after all it was just a small budget hotel. we should always be a human to contribute in other people s effort and please do not give a bad review because you face a small issue which could be solved with patience. the only problem we faced at this hotel was the stairs which was high since my hubby got leg problem. the...

we stayed 2 nights here, we booked 2kingsize beds suite, big fridge, just nice for sleep, because we use the room only at night. its budget hotel we don't expect so much.. don't dream about great luxury décor or new furniture's but still good for money. it was peak season school holiday and conjunction with Christmas holiday every where is on high rate, so we satisfied with the price and the room as well. There are a few restaurants and food stalls nearby, just walking distance. the Night Market just in front of the hotel ( make sure to bargain to the lowest price as u can). Beach about 2 minutes walking distance. convenience shops just nearby. Self service dobi/laundry just beside the hotel reception. the only thing that we don't like is the parking place, It was so dirty with rubbish everywhere seems no one to clean up or maybe no cleaner to work on that weekend. it was eyesore.||We love the beach ( Batu Feringgi Beach) and the activities there quite happening. there is Starbucks restaurant a few minutes walk...
