Restaurant Putri Tomyam Station — Restaurant in George Town

Avoid this worst restaurant in Malaysia in my opinion at any cost. I found at least two female staff of this restaurant to be incompetent, selfish and aggressive.

At the time of payment, a waitress said only e mobile pay (?) is accepted, and not cash or credit card. This was a lie. Another customer kindly told me that he always paid cash.

Then an old woman (a manager of this restaurant?) showed up and arrogantly said she would not accept my 20 ringgit note since it had a slight cut, and insited that I must pay with another note.

In the end, I had to walk to a nearest shop and buy something to get some change to pay the bill. In contrast to the old woman, the staff of this shop was friendly and accepted the 20 ringgit note without any problem. This was not a surprise, since the 20 ringgit note had no problem and there was no reason to refuse it. The problem was the old woman, not the note.

After all, this ill-natured and disgraceful old woman seems to have a mental and personality issue. She refused the offical currency note of Malaysia merely out of her selfishness, and harassed her customer.This is against the spirit of a fair transaction and could also be an offense.

One of the waitresses also had excatly the same mean and vulgar character.

I advise everyone to avoid this restaurant, unless you like to take a risk and get into a trouble with these...

I waited for half and hour just for Mee goreng and there is not busy. Only 2 tables having their drinks. The food was ok but the service is poor. After half and hour I ask the lady and she say another 15 minutes. I have to wait 45minutes just for Mee goreng. Please improve. There is 2 people in the kitchen and 2 handling order. At 12.40 only they start cook the meal and my meal only I get at 1pm. I'm waiting since 12.05pm. plus they serve to another table which is come after me!!
