Been there twice and always satisfy! From the service, ambiance and the foods! Loving it. First time came for Brunch and second time came for Dinner. Here's my 2 cents for the Brunch menu: 1. Southern Breakfast Fries, it says by Botanica + Co. I would say this is a creative and unique dish for a breakfast in Asia. It was a bowl of full baked shoestring fries, topped with creamy minced chicken velouté sauce and an over-easy fried egg. I could barely finish it, or I should say we had a hard time to finish this as it was fries mania. Not sure how western people could have this as their breakfast. It tasted good but I would probably recommend this to be a sharing platter. 2. Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich accompanied with freshly fried hand-cut chips. For its spicy heat, crispy texture yet juicy inside are something that I would love to eat again! Not to forget to their hand-cut fried chips, those are so lovely, thumbs up as it would let you forget about those commercial potato chips! Dinner menu: 1. A warm, hearty, rich, filling, and silky smooth, creamy mushroom soup. The earthy flavours of mushrooms at its best pureéd into this soup along with sourdough toast. The Mushroom Medley Soup with Sourdough toast. 2. A combination of soft brie, curd springy mozzarella, gritty parmesan, light and glorious ricotta in one pizza with porcini mushroom puree, rosemary, and muscatel (type of wine made of muscat grapes). Top pick for cheese lovers. Experience the bursting flavours in one bite. 3. A just nice crust, not too thin or thick. Rustic edge, crispy with some chewiness dough in the middle. Perfectly served with its seafood fiesta with crab meat, prawn, mussel, squid on the authentic tomato based sauce, topped with oregano, mozzarella, and parmesan. Seafoods-cheese-licious with a hint of 🌿🍅 , sweet-savoury taste. Definitely my cup of tea kind of taste. A perfect harmony in my mouth. A must-try pizza. 4. Mild-sweet white flakes, firm yet tender halibut fish wrapped in golden and super crispy batter one and only by Botanica+Co, Halibut Fish & Chips with bunch of steak fries underneath, tartar sauce and a bowl of refreshing vinaigrette salads on the side. Everything compliments each others. My best-pick dish of Botanica+Co for its worthy price. 5. In the other hand, Botanica+Co brilliantly came out with this dessert called Churros Doughnut Stack, which a tower of guilty pleasure! It has crunchy exterior which resembles churros while inside is soft and moist like Doughnut. Then it leaves ice cream surprise inside which is protected in the ring, covered with torched-whipped cream and drizzled with caramel and chocolate. 6. Presented as a familiar dish of apple crumble, this is a playful twist which came out as banana crumble. Structured from baked caramelised banana on the bottom to crumb mixture, topped with fresh seasonal fruits, sprinkled powdered sugar, and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. A perfect combination of hot and cold desserts such a great dessert on this season, ensuing a gleeful season!

Visited for the first time as friend commented it had decent food and good environment. Unfortunately it is one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in KL. Ordered pizza, wagyu burger, chicken burger and a pasta. Points for serving water within the first 5 minutes but it went downhill from there… Pizza arrived first after about 25 mins - we had to ask for plates and cutleries and was given one less napkin… it was not easy to get the servers’ attention so as every Malaysian knows … self-service is the way to go… Drinks arrived 5 minutes after the pizza … yep food b4 drinks and the latte was meh. It tasted more like coffee flavoured milk. However, it has decent latte fern art. The chicken burger arrived 10 mins later… and pizza was almost gone by then as we’d decided to share since everyone was really hungry by then. Then chicken burger was ordered later after server informed that the waffle was not available. So we thought the last two main meal should be ready soon. After 20 mins… Still no pasta nor burger. Asked the waiter to check…. Nothing after 5 minutes and was not given any response. Asked another waitress to check. No news after 3 minutes. That’s when we decided we’ve had enough. Went up to the counter to ask for the check as it’s ridiculous as diners who arrived later than us were getting their food but not us. Only then we we were offered a wagyu burger and a server explained that the kitchen didn’t get our order and were preparing the pasta. Found out also the burger was for actually for another table which they’d decided to give it to us first while they make us the pasta. We couldn’t be bothered as the dining experience was already ruined. Pizza was decent and so was the chicken burger but disappointed that it did not come with fries(and I want to point out menu does not state fries). For a $55 pizza and a $35 burger I expect better service. Will I return…? The food is not worth the poor service by a long shot.

If not some of the food, the review would have been a 1-star. We arrived quite early, when there wasn’t many people just yet. Food all came pretty quick, I was kind of in a rush to eat, and some food is already cold by the time I taste it. When there were more people in the restaurant, the service was SLOW but understandable as they are clearly lack of staff for a restaurant this size and the price like this. We often have to wave and waited really long before we can get someone attention. Most of the food is great, except the mushroom soup and the dessert. The triple cooked hand cut chips was really really good! Fish and chips wasn’t bad too. Pizza as well, only if I was able to taste while it was still hot. Lastly, the reason the low rating is due to the POOR SERVICE of the in-charge named Farah (malay lady dressed in blue shirt, mostly at counter/bar area). Her attitude is poor = horrible, restaurant management should really look into it before she ruins the business of the restaurant. Personally service of a restaurant if not equally then it’s more important than the taste of food. As it affected the whole dining experience. Everything was great until she ruined the dining experience for us and I would definitely share this bad experience with friends and families. So I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant because of the poor service by your in charge Farah. If she’s is a junior waitress then it’s more understandable. But she is in charge, I’m not sure how is she able to lead the team. If you do go, hopefully she’s not on duty to ruin your dining experience like how she ruined mine.
