Alkhair Restaurant — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Place looks great! When arrived there was no one dining only one group of 7 having sheesha and tea. The waiter who took order is not Arabic speaker. We ordered Fish and Lamb Haneeth. Order arrived after 26 minutes. Food was not warm but tasted good. Similar to any yemeni restaurant in KL. Unfortunately mine was NOT Lamb Haneeth but nornal Lamb Mandi. Another group of 4 came to dine. When you order yogurt (zabadi) it took another 5-6 minutes. Red tea another 6 minutes. Just 2 tables but service is extremely slow. Woman brought the bill but she didnt put the bill down. While holding bill folder, she asked the amount to be paid to her at the table. So we never saw the physical bill. Ladies toilet had no water to flush or on bidet. Only sink. No sign to mention that also. The man taking order and cashier woman needs more training. Imagine if the restaurant have more people ..Im not sure how slow it will be. I believe we were also charged for Lamb Haneeth although it was just a regular Lamb Mandi. We just paid (RM100++) yet they have so much to improve!...

I must say this is now my new favourite Arabic restaurant! From the moment we stepped in, everything about the experience exceeded expectations. The restaurant offers a wide variety of authentic Arabic dishes, each bursting with flavour and beautifully presented.

The quality of the food was outstanding — tender grilled meats, perfectly seasoned rice, rich sauces, and fresh salads that complemented every dish. The taste was absolutely authentic, transporting us straight to the Middle East with every bite.

I visited Alkhair Nasi Arab Ampang with my family for dinner and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of the food. The restaurant is spacious and clean, with a friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere. We ordered the lamb mandi, the chicken kabsa, and the hummus with bread. The portions were generous and the meat was tender and flavorful. The rice was fragrant and fluffy, and the hummus was creamy and smooth. The bread was warm and soft, perfect for dipping in the hummus. We also enjoyed the complimentary dates and tea that came with our meal. The prices were reasonable for the amount and quality of food.
